I wouldn't be looking to the sun newspaper for any guidance on what is going on in the club....

If he's still here next season, how many of our players will make transfer requests? Realistically speaking.

Would the board be ready to keep him if many of the players ask to leave?

Surely the comments from Rio, Hernandez, Welbeck, RVP, and Giggs (even though retirement is imminent for Giggs) would force the board to assess the situation in the locker room and beyond. If I had been fortunate enough to have made billions or born into vast wealth, and now owned the club, I'd be sitting down with each player and asking point blank questions, amnesty applies. This is one time I'm hoping ownerships interjects.

I'd fecking come if on the last day of season it was announced that Moyes is leaving and we are hiring Klopp. Van Gaal would do too. At this point Pulis as well.

Yeah, announce Ryan Giggs' retirement too so Liverpool have to share airtime with United. Maybe even a record breaking deal so Sky Sports would have to talk about:

  • Liverpool winning title.
  • Teams that got relegated.
  • Ryan Giggs, premier league legend, finally retires.
  • David Moyes sacked.
  • Jurgen Klopp the new Manchester United manager.
  • Some new record breaking deal.

This cnut has made me so angry today its actually unbelievable. By the time it was March I thought I was desensitized to losses, but I've got an urge to smash something for the last few hours. I really need some sleep now.

 He is the biggest laughing stock in the football world right now. It's in everyone's best interest for this to end.

 He is becoming a parody of himself.

I'm all for healthy self deprecation but it's coming at a price; our club has become the laughing stock of the PL and probably world football right now.

We can all stand here and take shots at Moyes and FFS lets put it into perspective, he'll get a nice fat pay off and won't have to worry about paying off his mortgage, f however I feel terribly let down by the board for appointing a man who had sod all track record in 1)playing a decent style of football and 2) winning against big sides(save one or two wins all at home)

I don't think we'd have won the league - although maybe Fergie would have done different deals in the transfer market, so who knows.

I just don't get the mentality of playing an unfit Wayne Rooney as a lone striker, and having him take the free kicks and corners. Or not playing Kagawa in the same position where he did so well in Germany. Amongst other things.
Maybe I was getting carried away, but I do think United would be pushing City/Liverpool/Chelsea all the way. Especially given how the season has panned out.

I was blinded by my eternally optimistic view of life and blinded by believing Fergie knew what he was doing in this. Its mostly the way that we are playing thats got to me. I cannot believe that its possible for us to have become this weak.

Yeah. I've tried not to get bothered with United this season, but it's fecking hard. I've tried to be optimistic when we won games (and kinda hoping Moyes would turn it around). But seeing Liverpool flying high, with average squad and good manager, it does really hard to take Moyes approach.

And nothing so far suggesting that he can 'magically' turn things around and make us title challenger next season. And if there is, it should've already started right now; start with being able to maximizing of what (players) he has in hands now. Not relying on these imaginary players that may come or not next season.

Ferguson would tell the players he'd sooner die than watch the Scousers win the championship. He would tell them about the history of the club and all the work they've done to make them the very best ever in Britain.

Those players would be at the top of their game, since we got 89 points last season and now with the emergence of Januzaj and £70m to spend in the window, I think we could have gotten the 90 points to win it.

He probably would have tried to lure Thiago and if that failed gone for Strootman. He would have pounced on De Rossi when he was willing to listen to offers instead of doing a Moyes and waiting until the point where he wasn't willing to listen to offers and then bid (according to Rudi Garcia)! Had Cristiano genuinely had doubts as opposed to using that to get a new contract, he would have signed him with the money he had!

I think it's fair to assume had Ferguson been here we would at the least still be in the title race.

Watching his post match interview makes me angry. Norwich, Sunderland and Southampton games left. 9 possible points. If we get 4 or more I'll be surprised.

Why?

We'll hammer them and end the season with relentless positivity from the gold fish in our fan base.

He's so full of crap, that's why. Yapping on about how possession is the be all and end all, and how we controlled the game in the first half. We were fecking rubbish. I have doubts we'll do the job now. I'm just being a pessimistic git, that's all.

If Moyes were managing the Spanish or German national team in the world cup, do you think they would make it out of the group stage?

Can't wait until this poison is removed.
Totally agree, today is long enough, 4th is in unobtainable, he's had his chance, the writings been on the wall. Time to put him and us out of our misery, and get back to being Manchester United.

Red Issue hated Fergie, wonder what they're making of Moyes right now.Even the Fanstalk on the Official site has a number of anti-Moyes threads which is significant

Why? I know that they hate everyone and everything (especially redcafe) but why they did hate Fergie? Are they clinically mental?
