One of the main criticisms of him of late has been the lack of rotation, particularly at the back. Saturday was the first big set of changes, from memory.

He's a cnut for not resting players and a cnut for rotating too much. I hope he just doesn't pay any heed to what others are saying and just does his own thing because if he was to start trying to pander to United fans he'd want to name two team sheets for every game.

Naah, there is pretty much a unified opinion on the caf about what our strongest team is, bar one or two positions. He could start by playing them all together once or twice, atleast for the home games and try to get some understanding built between them. Rotations should be for one or two positions, not all at once.
OK, but apart from Rafael who has been injured and resting Evra where has he picked the wrong team?
I think he needs to try Fabio when Raf is injured but it's not some glaring error and anyway has no part of the discussion about rotating.
Players need to be played, players have been injured, players have been out of form, a player has been signed. There are all the reasons why we haven't seen a settled team.
There are always some reasons to pick some player over the other. He has made a few mistakes with the team selections but that has been done to death and I'm not going to go into that. All I ask for now is to see our strongest team get a run out. Is it too much to ask for?
Nope. I just don't think it's a case that he's over rotated.
My biggest gripe as I've said in loads of threads has been the wrong back 4. Get that sorted and we'll win games.
To be fair, I'd have played Buttner against West Brom, too. Was a game begging to get a few of the squad players out. Rio had a mare and it cost us.
Rio and also the generally shit attitude and tempo from the entire team. It was obvious throughout that we were the better team but we never seemed to want to play at even half speed.
Indeed, but the lack of tempo is nothing new. It's a shame because it looked like we had it in spades against Swansea..old habits dying hard?
Agreed. The "lack of rotation" was largely about Evans and persisting with Young, then he rotated but kept Rio and gave us Alexander fecking Buttner.
Hopefully he will settle for the right starting side and rotate 1-2 per game subject to oppo, then use the cups to experiment a bit. We need stability in the league.
I am not against rotation but Moyes has admitted himself that he needs to find the right balance
I'd like to see some stats, because it would appear we are playing the long ball far to often. It's shit to watch and so easy to play against.
Tactically he's not very bright, is he ?
I really hope that style of football is just a means to an ends for the moment right now and not his philosophy. I couldn't take 10 years of that away from home, awful football.
Moyes is, right now, uninspiring.
We could have won tonight, but again settled for a draw.
I suspect if he was asked, he'd say he'd take a point against Sunderland away.
He should be made to watch videos of big cats catching and killing their prey, on repeat over and over so he understands what going for the kill means
What annoys me most about Moyes is that he plays for draws. It goes against United's tradition and it makes me a little sick. It was a concern that Moyes wasn't a winner in joining United but I had no idea he would tuck his tail between his legs in every away match.
Unfortunately he played that way for 10 years at Everton, so it's the latter.
