Watching Soccer Saturday and they all think he needs time to build a squad, not one of them have mentioned we're the current champions. Everybody acts like we finished 10th last year and need a completely new squad to challenge again.
exactly because they think our squad is shite!!

read the ken early piece. it is absolutely spot on. i'm saving it to my computer not just because it's such a good piece but i can learn from his writing. very well-written.

Moyes on the plane situation: "The fans would have been better putting the money into Darren Fletcher's charity"

Very well said, sure some can find some fault in it.

Nah, it just shows how hes trying to deflect the blame and shirk responsibility for our season. Again. Trying to curry favour with the fans by referencing Fletcher's charity. Classless smug bastard.

or something like that

I think the Fellaini money would also have been better served going to Fletch's charity.

Not being serious.

Wouldn't say he's trying to curry favor with fans. on the contrary its a dangerous snipe instead of taking the high ground and laughing it off. They just had a big evening to do with darrens charity so it's no surprise he'd mention that.

Wont get anywhere slagging off fans, even if it's directed at a few twats

Very good move to come out before the players and shows that he isn't scared of the responsibility. Good reception from the real fans too.
'The real fans' WTF are you on? We need to get shut of this clown, the plane might not be the best idea but clapping and supporting him is even worse.

Sorry, if this has been posted already. More blame from Moyesie...

Moyes responds to Neville and Scholes criticism: http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/manchester-united-boss-david-moyes-6891934

"As Sky TV pundits at Tuesday’s Old Trafford derby drubbing by City, Neville and Scholes were scathing about the United’s display and highlighted the lack of tempo and speed.

One of United’s fans main issues about Moyes’ influence has been that the champions have become ponderous and lack their previous energy and verve. “Tempo and speed comes from the personnel and we are aware of that,” said the Old Trafford boss."

Must say that I have no real sympathy for Moyes in general. But this was becoming a real problem under Sir Alex and it wasn't addressed by him. So part of the blame has to lay at Fergie's door.

Ponderous, lack of energy and verve. Pretty sums up the man that he thought would improve our midfield, Fellaini will not provide us with any verve or speed.

That wasn't the most confident start from our players to show their backing of the manager. It's little games like this that if he wins, he continues to be very safe. That banner flew near the right time though with that free kick!

I am still stunned that the crowd applauded him while he walked up to his seat as if he has just found the cure to cancer.

Funnily the guy Moyes seems to have given up on (Kagawa) seems to be the only one playing for him so far.

Kagawa isn't playing for Moyes. He's playing for pride, like the rest of the lads. They clearly don't want none of Moyes but they don't fancy losing to a team we routinely beat either.

Danny Dichio on Canadian TV saying Moyes is "in over his head" and should be gone.

Pathetic. If they were "real fans" they would know not to applaud a man that is "guiding" us through our worst season in PL history and has overseen back-to-back home defeats against our two biggest rivals. This "top red" shite is awful annoying.

Edit: Top censored red.

I'm pretty sure if someone is prepared to pay for and organise a sodding plane flyby, they're a real fan. An idiotic fan, but a real one undoubtedly.

and the pressure eases off again...for a while!

That was really comfy in the end. Like old times!

Man, I can't stand anything he does anymore. Just seeing him waving to the fans as if he's achieved something irked me. And his stupid smirk.

Objectivity has been lost.

He's now won more at home in the league than he's lost. That's an achievement.

This.

Those idiots did him a favour.

We'll lose against Bayern. Everyone expects it but there will be outrage and people will want Moyes out but the club will back him.

No point reacting to every single game.. Not much can change now.

We'll have to see what he does in the transfer window. I'm hoping he gets it right..
