Moyes So Far!

I don't even know what to say anyone. Players have literally 0 motivation. It's telling that he's made a player like mata look like a pub player. It's just soo clear.

sigh. there's nothing more to say. he's probably going nowhere any time soon and i can't see things changing at all, we'll just end up disillusioning our best players and they'll leave before he does. useless.

We need to aspire to City's level...?

He thinks he's still at Everton. Actually he might as well still be there, he looked so comfy in his seat while watching us get humiliated at home again, because that's exactly what he is. He's untouchable, and it's going to end with us excepting the mediocrity soon. That's all he's aspiring to, the day we lie down and say 'ah well. sure we used to be the mighty Manchester United, but at least we're still in the PL, fighting for 7th place'.

I...Nothing about the man is inspiring. If he was leading me across a mountain I'd be certain he was going to get me lost cos there's just no certainty in him. How this man is the right man to lead us back to the top I can't see. We need to stop with this 'time' rubbish and get him out.

When I heard he was actually going to do an interview I thought he must be resigning but no he comes out with the normal crap.

Does anybody think we would be in this position if we had appointed Jose? Mods can we have poll?

Genuine question for those who still believe he needs time: Is this your honest belief or are you simply trying to hold yourself up to be a "*******" for all us doubters to look up to?

I don't really understand this question. He clearly needs time. Whether United should give him time is another question.

I definitely think that in time he would do better, but then I highly doubt he will ever do well enough.

With my Nostradamus hat on I would say he will probably get us back into the CL, but I can't see him ever winning us the title.

What excactly does he need more time to do?

He didn't need a month to magically transform the champions into a genuine, mid-table side.

He says it every single time. It's Preston standard, it's Everton standard, it's not Manchester United standard. How the hell is this clueless buffoon still manager of this once great football club? :(
He hasn't got a Scooby Doo. It's absolute bobbins.

6 points behind Everton and they have a game in hand. A goal difference of 0 at OT having only scored 18 goals. Everything about the season has been awful.

Stewards on guard for the banner too.

I don't even know how to react to this.:lol::lol:

It's not even about losing for me. We don't look like a team any more and I've seen better football on the local park.

Wayne Rooney has carried us for most of this season.

I think we massively over achieved last year and the squad was nowhere near as good as some thought it was.

That said I don't think Moyes is the man to change it for the better either. As you've pointed out he had nothing significant on his cv.

I disagree, look at the players we've brought in. Mata is a world class player and Fellaini was terrific at Everton. But both at United are garbage. Carricks gone from midfielder of the year to someone who's struggling massively for form. They're not the only exceptions, it's right across the squad.

I've said it all season, I think Ferguson probably over achieved with the squad he had. But with the additions of Mata, Fellaini and Januzaj we shouldn't be in the position we are. Dave has woefully underachieved with the same squad + 70m odd of signings. Confidence shattered in the team, players don't really look like giving it their all for the manager. Just seems like we're doing the motions now waiting for the season to end. I have zero confidence that he can motivate these players for a title push next year. We're struggling to win games, let alone go on a run. Sigh.

Why don't you actually go to OT and then see how big you are when you try to turn on him? Every fecker has a voice when sat behind a computer but thankfully the match going fans aren't as fickle. Support the team, the club, the manager.

Was you there tonight?

At least Hodgson took a mid-table side around the Europa League places and made them a 7th placed team.

Moyes has done that with the champions. Dear God.

In fairness the stewards could just be there in case anyone tries to jump

To be fair, it would be easy to nick in behind them and cut it down. They're David Moyes' stewards after all. Couldn't stop anyone.

No one why no one had removed it....yet

Moyes is used to these defeats at Everton so I honestly don't think he's too bothered by them. It's on to the next game for him. His comments about "aspiring to be like City" are a complete embarrassment when we have players capable of putting in a hell of a lot better performance than that against them.

he's done it now hasn't he....aspiring to be city. He couldn't have said a worse thing, he really couldn't. I'm astounded he let his brain vocalise what he thinks. He's going to alienate even the match going fans with that kind of talk....

I'm not defending Moyes, but we were nowhere near that level last season, or the one before.

How about Everton, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea? Where we nowhere near their current level too? We seemed pretty close to Madrid last season.

Nah, of course he's bothered by them, he's not stupid. He knows his job is at risk and his reputation is taking a pummeling. The problem is that he genuinely doesn't know what to do to fix these problems and he genuinely doesn't know what to say when he has to defend himself after yet another embarrassment. He's bewildered by what's happening and that results in these stupid comments.
