Moyes So Far!

It's now going to the point of genuine dislike for the man himself.

How awful must he be at his job? He's stealing a living.

The Villa game is big now.....lose that in limp fashion and then Bayern piss over us and the pressure will be intense.

Aspire to be city.....

Besides being a tactical moron, he just doesn't "get" Utd. People talk about having patience but keeping the wrong man just to protect this lie of not sacking managers will harm us long term.

Only 2 managers post war we haven't sacked.....can't believe how many are taken in by this nonsense.

He could lose every game until the season is over. He will still get until Christmas (That's the magic marker isn't it?).

Moyes will beat Villa fairly comfortably to relieve the pressure at which point the enablers will put their blinkers back on and give it the big one up in the days approaching Bayern, for yet another thorough humbling is awaiting us.

It's like every game really.

He had like 3 big games he should've been sacked after so far, yet here he is again...

We have gone from winning the league 5 times in 7 years (one of those years on goals difference) to aspiring to be like City? I can't get my head around that comment.

Feck it.

I've almost stopped getting disappointed or downbeat when we lose but feck this, tonight was horrible.

If he's able to make an entire fan base lower their expectations so spectacularly in a season, what does it say for his motivational skills?

I still refuse to believe he said it.

Can someone compile a list of all this seasons disasters, coupled with all the new records broken, our worst results, our terrible decisions, our greatest headlines, include the summer transfer window and a disastrous pre-season and stick it all into a 4 hour you tube video.
Thanks.

Oh and yes I've been at the sauce

Why would a totally meaningless game be a big game now?

No United game is meaningless, especially right now. It is a game United should win, and if it's lost in limp fashion, with an expected schooling from Bayern next week, it may prove a breaking point for some. If supporters become hostile, then that represents a whole new problem for Moyes and the power brokers within the club.

The win over Olympiacos is already a distant memory, any momentum from that is lost already.

I always loved those feel good stories where someone triumphs over adversity. The stories where everything goes wrong and then the hero finally gets a break and fireworks happen and everyone is happy. I really wanted Moyes to be able to do this.
Unfortunately I just cant see this being possible. I would love Moyes to be able to turn it all round next season and for all of us to be wrong. Its an easy bet to take though isnt it, Moyes cant and wont turn this around.

That was said tongue in cheek by me but fook that's some list, he's beyond awful.

Can we start a petition, them scouser twats did when Hodgson broke their club.

Pool got rid of their clown just after New Year. It's April and he's still on the job. It appears that Pools board is more ambitious than ours and by larger scale.

I mean champions by healthy margin. Kept all players and 60m more spend and we're 7th with no chance for higher position in the league, out of all competitions (given some time - two weeks) and still not sacked. He must have some bullet proof contract...

I've avoided so far criticizing Moyes for press interviews because I think they're mostly meaningless but that "aspire to be at their level" comment is outrageous. I calmed down after the game and then watched him deliver this gem.

What he doesn't understand is that he has to aspire to be at that level. We've been at that level consistently for 20 years. We were competing with the best a mere few months before he took over. What a fecking joke of a statement.

Anybody dependent on the results already wants Moyes out.

The only support he has now is from people who don't care about our results, even if we were 10th. They just think that any manager should get 2-3 years by default no matter how bad he performs on his first year.

That's why I say it's a meaningless game in that regard.

Does anyone actually believe Moyes is the right man for the job?
Nobody can honestly say they thought that last summer. Some might have been impartial with him or thought he could come good, but I seriously doubt anybody actually wanted him to replace Sir Alex (well anyone other then Sir Bob and Sir Alex, who appear to be clueless and useless directors).
