Moyes So Far!

Hope he clears out that dead wood, and those older players who have hung up their boots and put on slippers.

"We just tried to make it hard for them"

- David Moyes post match. Sigh.

How can anybody think this man is right for us? just look at that comment. He's a defeatist man with a losers mentality, neither of which will ever change.

This is the way he's always going to be and it's not good enough. He's an absolute embarrassment, he really is.

Genuine question for those who still believe he needs time: Is this your honest belief or are you simply trying to hold yourself up to be a "top red" for all us doubters to look up to? While the atmosphere at OT this season has been better than ever, surely it's time that the fans turned on him. I already believe he has lost the dressing room and if he loses the fans this may be the final nail in the coffin (or whatever is left of it) for Moyes. "The Chosen One" banner should be taken down. It was embarrassing when it first went up and this has only multiplied as the season has gone on.

When he went after Fellaini and Baines in the summer I jokingly said he was trying to turn us into Everton. At the rate things are going and the longer he remains in charge, Everton will soon be at a level we can only aspire to reach.

Did he really said that? Burn him with fire if true. Not exactly, but a sacking will make around 500 hundred millions of people very happy.

That's abysmal.

We've got some dross in our squad but 10 points there is inexcusable.

You can understand now why that record of his at Everton was a real concern to some of us in the Summer. When the chips are down, his teams fail. 10 points out of 45 is bloody hopeless. Those last 3 fixtures are going to be horribly tricky too.

I know how you feel Loon, Fernandinho said it was an easy game, an easy fooking game.
I agree with you as usual, Mata is a prime example :(

He might survive to the summer, he may get millions to spend, but if he cannot get the best out of those players, then what's the point?

He better buy quality that at least the next manager can get working.

We need to aspire to City?! We were champions last year! feck off Moyes.

I've said for the last few months, why are the club rewarding failure?

"We need to aspire to that level"

We were at that level and then some you dipshit!

We need to aspire to City's level...?

If Diego Simeone can get a perennial under achieving side who spend hardly any money, to compete with Real and Barca, and Brendan Rodgers can take the former laughing stock of Liverpool to the premier league title, then what does that make Moyes, who can't even take the champions to the Europa league? I can't believe people are still sticking by the guy, and blaming the players for all of the hopeless performances. There is just no way that these players have become shit overnight, and most people on here were saying we had a great squad that needed tweaks at the start of the season.

Moyes need to do this...

Or get fired.

6 points behind Everton and they have a game in hand. A goal difference of 0 at OT having only scored 18 goals. Everything about the season has been awful.

Stewards on guard for the banner too.

He says it every single time. It's Preston standard, it's Everton standard, it's not Manchester United standard. How the hell is this clueless buffoon still manager of this once great football club? :(

It's not even about losing for me. We don't look like a team any more and I've seen better football on the local park.

Wayne Rooney has carried us for most of this season.

I think we massively over achieved last year and the squad was nowhere near as good as some thought it was.

That said I don't think Moyes is the man to change it for the better either. As you've pointed out he has nothing significant on his cv.

He's basically taking the blame off himself and asking to throw more money at the problems. The problem is him and his staff that have destroyed our season. Why do the press give him such an easy ride?
