If only he plays Januzaj/Welbeck/Nani instead of Young it would be brilliant. This has been great today. Stick with this please. The Kagawa mata Rooney trio is lovely.
Absolutely agree, it was great. I'm beaming right now to be honest.Don't know what inspired Moyes to play Kagawa, Mata and Rooney together but it was a fine decision. For the first time in 2013/14 we really saw Manchester United today: Quick, short passing, interchanging attackers, fast counters. Also, returning Fletch to the starting line up was a very good decision. Fletch definitely played better today than he has for awhile but today his short and long passing was good and together with Fellaini he helped us not get bullied. When Moyes gets it wrong I slate him so I'll praise him for getting it right today.
And the pressure cooker eases down another notch...
Nice win. Liked seeing Mata at 10 with Kagawa and Rooney. We're a mid-table team this year-so yeah-we beat West Ham. But, recently we haven't been close to competitive against Chelsea, Liverpool, and Tuesday, I expect City.
I expect three losses down the stretch-City, Everton and S'hampton. This was nice-and no surprise.
Nothing to complain about today. I don't whether the short passing and emphasis on counter was by his instruction or the players' natural instinct, but it worked out well.

AgreedGreat job today. Full credit for the line up and the tactics.
Has Moyes seen the light? Are Fergie and Giggs influencing him? Has he thrown his natural instincts to the wind?
Whatever it is , we want more of this. We've got our mojo back.
Mainly it was because one of the two players that he hasn't had the balls to upset by playing them out of position or by benching them is injured. Secondly, only a guess mind, I think that he was using the squad with Tuesday's game in mind. Welbeck was rested for that game and I think that he will start against City. I am not sure if Moyes had in mind to start evolving our style. Lets see if what happens from here on out.
Could've gone for Young and Valencia again thought couldn't he? This was a real change. A change of emphasis towards the magic midgets. You gotta give him credit for that. I know the change was forced but even so, Shinji and Mata haven't started together til now and still could with Van Persie and Rooney available with Rooney going wide right. Moyes seems to have learned how flat the way he's setting us up makes us and he showed the nous to change it. Glad too.
Agreed. For me it's just prolonging the inevitable. And the tide has seemingly turned for a few people, again. I'm far, far from convinced. We've had much better displays earlier in the season, and then the eyebrowless one took us to new depths. Doesn't change a thing.
Nice to see Hernandez and Kagawa in a game. Looks like they got their release papers from Guantanamo last night. Maybe Nani will get his soon.
We have a different understanding of what the word "relying" implies. May be it is rocket science. This was his first game in ages, so that doesn't suggest we have relied on him or are relying on him.
We don't need to replace him, we need to buy a creative midfielder. Giggs can be a wisely used squad member. An inspiration to everyone in a youngish squad.
Well, he wakes up every morning and his body hasn't given up yet. Am I supposed to answer you based some hypothetical scenario where Giggs body suddenly starts behaving like any other 40 year olds? What if a 25 year midfielder wakes up and falls in the shower?
My argument is pointless? hmmm...
He doesn't have to retire for us to invest in someone else. That situation remains independent of whether Giggs stays or go. And if you remember an effort was made to sign a creative midfielder in the summer, so your assertion that Giggs has somehow stopped us from investing is nonsense.
