Come on now, Mike. Some of the trains were fecked. The last guy in charge of Rome should have replaced some of those trains.Rome was already built, he just needed to keep the trains running on time.
This analogy isn't working anymore, is it?

Rome was already built. Moyes just needed to keep the trains running on time and the streets clean.
Come on now, Mike. Some of the trains were fcuked. The last guy in charge of Rome should have replaced some of those trains.

Yeah he's staying until the end of the season at the very least, the glazers just gave him the money for mata so they aren't going to sack him 2 weeks later. He might get sacked if he doesn't improve at all, but I can't see us being this shit until the end of the season so he'll probably stay next season too. The problem is that I just don't see moyes and his style ever competing for trophies, ever playing great attacking football. What's the point in keep him around if there is no signs he might get us back up there? A 6 year contract was such an idiotic decision, because even if he did well, he would have gotten the contract regardless. Like this we just dug ourselves a hole.I can't see it, the only way he'd get the sack is if our next shirt sponsorship deal value drops significantly.
We need something the Glazers will understand.
Ah, was mistaken. ThanksNo that's Ancelotti's side. His Madrid hold the La Liga record though.
Yet the new guy decided to buy a broken train and a private jet instead...Come on now, Mike. Some of the trains were fcuked. The last guy in charge of Rome should have replaced some of those trains.

As I said. People don't know the difference between playing shit and playing defensively. Mourinho would've wanted exactly what he saw tonight at Old Trafford and Arsenal, but the players didn't counter attack as well as he wanted them to.

Moyes took Rome from a kingdom of gold to one of iron and rust.
I can't see it, the only way he'd get the sack is if our next shirt sponsorship deal value drops significantly.

Moyes took Rome from a kingdom of gold to one of iron and rust. Just like Commodus.
I really can't see us not beating Fulham. They are one of the very worst sides in the league. Surely it's unimaginable.Serious question if we lose again to Fulham at home. He can't really stay on another day. bottom of the league as well.
By train. It's a shame United didn't draw Galatasaray in the CL - "Moyes takes Rome to Byzantium."
Serious question if we lose again to Fulham at home. He can't really stay on another day. bottom of the league as well.
How is it funny?
Stoke had 1pts out of 18 before they played us, expect the unexpected with David Moyes.I really can't see us not beating Fulham. They are one of the very worst sides in the league. Surely it's unimaginable.

By train.
He did, Schurrle played up front. Both Eto'o and Milito played at the Camp Nou in that infamous CL semi... That must have been an attacking performance since he played 2 strikers that game?He didn't even play a striker against us
Seriously, lads. Enough with the whole Rome thing.
And the trains.
Pandev started too IIRC. Three strikers, such an impressive attacking lineup. He did, Schurrle played up front. Both Eto'o and Milito played at the Camp Nou in that infamous CL semi... That must have been an attacking performance since he played 2 strikers that game?
'Train' doesn't even seem like a real word any more, you all said it too much.I hear Dave's daughter is a fan of trains.
Because it's kind of true. How is it funny?

I'm glad the internet didn't exist when Ferguson was struggling in the eighties and early nineties. The discussions regarding Moyes would have nothing on the stick Ferguson would have recieved. There was no hope for him for a long time and Manchester United. The fanzines were full of it and the media but sticking with it was more than worth it.I am all for Moyes getting it together.I am not sure if he can but this is getting all too much. When the squad has actually been properly tended to we will see much improvement. The mood is so bi-polar on here.Just a week or so ago when we signed Mata we were all cock-a-hoop and now the depression. It's gonna take time! Injuries and below standard players still at the club have hampered us badly but it will be fine. We'll be back before too long I just know it!
Yeah but that was away at Stoke. I mean, it's Fulham. They're not even unpleasantly shite like Stoke, they're just shite. How is it funny?

No wonder he got banned.

Any sensible businessman could see that Mourinho would be the safer choice for their investment.Because it's kind of true.
Tongue in cheek it may be, this is where having non-interfering owners is coming back to bite us on the arse. They should've laughed when Fergie first brought Moyes' name up in the boardroom.
We may win, Van Persie, Rooney, Mata should be able to beat them even when played in wrong positions.Yeah but that was away at Stoke. I mean, it's Fulham. They're not even unpleasantly shite like Stoke, they're just shite.
Just trying to put a positive slant on things mate that's all!Ah, someone needed to remind us that SAF struggled in the beginning too. Thank you mate, we never knew that. And also the situations were completely the same at the time. We were the dominating force on England back then too.
Because it's kind of true.

I know. But the situations are so different that I don't think means anything what happened then. SAF did well (also had a better CV) after that, but also the club and the team weren't near as good. His predecessors did bad although they had enough years. In fact there were four or five between two Sir managers who did very bad and one of them got us relegated despite he was given time.Just trying to put a positive slant on things mate that's all!
Fergie broke the Old Firm dominance and won in Europe with Aberdeen. He was already a proven winner. What reason is there to think that Moyes will turn it around. I saw a graphic that compared us this season with Everton last season from the first match of the season and it's almost exactly the same. I keep reading that our squad is awful too. The same squad that won the league last season. Even if it isn't as good, it's certainly not 15 points worse than Arsenal, City and Chelsea and worse than Liverpool, Spurs and Everton.
But Rome is beautiful and trains are comfortable.
