Moyes So Far!

Who fell behind 14 times last season but had RVP on fire to get us out of trouble not to mention had rivals in crisis and disarray. Now without Wazza and Rvp the vast majority of our squad is being shown up for what it is, mainly average.

I must have missed us finishing seventh the year before we signed RVP.

He looks resigned to losing every time we fall behind.

The club will stand by him, give him time and give him funds.

Or they intend to anyway. He'll quit before it happens.

Talk about average players has some truth but we should be beating a bunch of united rejects/poor players with our reserve team.

I'm pretty sure he's completely lost the dressing room. None of the players seem to give a shit about him and I know I wouldn't be filled with confidence looking at that crumbing ruin of a man on the sidelines if I was a player.

Other sides have improved we haven't, surely people can see that? We have stood still bar the RVP signing. This midfield issue has been going on for years, we can't rely on Carrick forever. Valencia has been out of form for 18 months now, Nani crocked, Young is average. We brought on Fletch for Cleverley tonight that says it all really. Bar Carrick we don't have a midfielder that would play for the City, Arsenal or Chelsea sides of today. When you then lose your two best strikers that compounds matters.

Under Fergie losing to an own goal and a (dodgy) penalty in an away first leg would be a shrug-and-move-on thing but this is just abject fecking shite. Moyes looking lost and frustrated must surely effect the players, but have they no pride in themselves?

Something's possibly wrong behind the scenes. The squad on paper is dodgy but not this dodgy.

He's failing to inspire them. United were always great at responding to defeats. Now it's like the players are struggling to care. He's struggling to get the players to play for him.

It's just too many poor results against very average teams.

Lose to Swansea on the weekend and that will probably be that. He's hopelessly out of his depth.

The biggest worrying thing is that he seems to have the worst luck ever on top of the obvious mistakes we all know about.

Giggs own goal and penalty tonight!

So people still think this is "The Chosen One"? No matter what you think of the squad he over, the guy has criminally underachieved.

Unfortunately for him, hes giving the owners a decision to make

hope the t0p reds in the away block are happy when the chosen one will gloriously lead them in the championship.

I think almost any other team in the world would have sacked Moyes given what has happened since he joined!

I almost wonder if we would have done the same had it not been for SAF to have taken a few years to get warmed up himself.

The difference is when SAF took over we were shite and needed a lot of work from the ground up.

When Moyes took over we are one of the top clubs in the world in terms of revenue, FFP has made sure that we should therefore have a potentially unfair advantage. We have not been outside the top 3 since 1990/91 in which we finished 5th. As it stands 5th might seem a good result for Moyes, but the reality is 5th means we are screwed.

Failure in the FA Cup when we would have had a simple 4th round draw. Looking questionable in league cup. Champions League has been the surprise success.

On top of this are all the questions:
1) did he change too much in coaching staff?
2) did he fail to ensure transfers happened or is it purely just Woodwards fault? Surely must be an element of persuade and influence, like look this doesn't seem reasonable lets get moving on XYZ
3) are his coaching styles effective and just need time to work, or are the players getting knackered/ injured and failing to perform?
4) was he ever the right man tactically, having not dealt with top class teams, high budgets, and advanced attacking tactics required for such teams?

He's out of his depth and the players aren't helping him at all, not many players or staff can hold their head up this season. We're so devoid of ideas and too many players want to hide.

Obviously he was chosen to manage United. He hardly committed a coup.
