Domenech was what I meant with this. Of course he wasn't the only one but he was considered as one of the main protagonists of the fallout the team had with Domenech.

I erased that freak episode of my memory :wenger: Nah more seriously, those were special circumstances, a case of collective stupidity like never been seen before.

Who could we get right now though? It doesn't help that all of our backroom staff are his people. That's why I think he'll stay til Summer.

There's always a turnover in backroom staff when a new manager takes over. That won't be an issue.
What I meant was, that at this stage of the season, it'd be very difficult to get an actual manager in, let alone a very good one, and usually in those circumstances you get a caretaker manager already at the club, but all our staff are Moyes people...

My twitter feed has a few rumours of him being sacked. I highly doubt it, we all know how twitter works.
Where there's hope, eh?
Guillerm Balague is saying that those rumours aren't true. That menas that definitely there is something on it.

Round as interim

That wont be an issue. Sack him now or in the summer, the new manager will bring his own people. Thats why all the hue and cry about Moyes bringing 3-4 of his men made little sense. It always happens.

That said, I dont see us going the caretaker route and thus Moyes will be here till the summer at the very least. Dec next year is what am betting on though. We're stuck with him for a while yet.

We can't rely on Rafael, and we cant play centre backs in that position. We need a world class right back.

We need a deep lying creative midfielder.

We need a left back.

We need a replacement Centre back.

If we are going to play with wingers, we need two new wingers.

We also need a manager good enough for the club.

Mourinho would have this squad doing better than Moyes. Fergie would have the squad doing better than Moyes. This means that, the squad is capable of better than Moyes can do. That isn't good enough then, go and get the best we can.

I backed him most of the season, but it get's to a point where there is absolutely no justification for doing so, other than some sort of 'history' spiel. Moyes should be sacked. Today.

That was sort of my point though...

Please, please, please let it be true.

It won't be though, unless the Glazer's have had enough and are making the call.

Fergie won't back down and admit he is wrong and after all the backing he has given Moyes and all the "we need to give the manager time" talks, it just won't happen.

With France. A side that is perpetually fractured. With us he's been nothing but loyal. Harsh to suggest that might change.

Of course he has been loyal with us because we only had one manager who on top of that was one of the best and most respect commanding personalities in professional football. If he thinks like most of the fans do by now that Moyes is inept and not up to the task the only comparison we have to how he might react is Doemech and it didn't end pretty. Of course the French team had a lot more trouble makers then we have in our squad and within that climate things probably got to much bigger extremes then it ever will with our team but I also doubt that the team is fully behind Moyes at this time either.

Nothing against Evra I love the guy but when it comes to backing his teammates against his manager who on top of that is the "new guy" at the club I'm pretty sure Evra will chose his teammates hence why I doubt Evra will be a strong supporter of Moyes if there is some form of anti-Moyes atmosphere among the players.

I'm not sure Ryan Giggs would like his long career at United dismissed as being one of "Moyes people".

If we do end up needing a caretaker manager for a short spell then Giggs would be as good an option as most clubs would have in the same scenario. It's never an ideal way to handle managerial change but needs must.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying Evra is a douche bag who likes to bring down managers but I have a feeling that when it comes down to him siding with either his teammates he has been playing with for years now or the new manager that seems a bit inept I think he will chose his teammates side any day of the week.

I guess in context of the Pepe Mel news bookies suspending betting on Moyes being the next to go is kinda interesting.

Giggs would probably play himself in every game and offer himself a new five year contract.

And rightly so IMHO but that's another debate.

Naah, doubt he'd take it up. If he has a bad spell, it'd be tough to get the job later once he's ready which is something he wont want. Too short a time from now till end of season to change much.

Ive said Giggs a couple of times recently. I think he would be perfect as caretaker

Rene and Mike are free too, they can be his assistants

Agreed, though its a shame we won't. A new manager coming in might motivate the team for a couple of months in a way Moyes hasn't been able to.

I'd take Giggs with Rene and Mike behind him as a stop-gap.

Not that Moyes is going anywhere mind.

My mate just text me to say Moyes has been sacked. His muppet factor is low - is this true? Please?

#MoyesIn is trending on twitter.

One of my favourite trends so far because its going something like this:
