I believed he'd get until Christmas to fix it. Now, I don't know. The home games Vs Dippers & Bertie's could be the watershed...

I think if we lose badly against Liverpool, I could definitely see the crowd turning... I don't imagine it would be pretty.

The thing is he has been getting worse over the course of the season. He actually started off well pretty well but the last three months have been nothing but shit. I dont think I have ever seen this many bad results in a span of 60 days ever since I started following United back in 97-98.

If he can't be trusted to spend the money and shape the future of the club the why prolong the pain?

Where is the evidence of this great hands-on coach that the media like to talk about so much?

The club took a gamble and one not wholly undeserving of praise, however a wise person knows when to walk away to preserve what they have.

Can't wait until this man leaves the club. A born loser who has learnt nothing during his time here. He's making a parody of himself. He does what rival fans expect him to, and then some more. I can't believe we will let this man tear apart our title-winning squad. I hate it.

Our title winning squad has torn itself apart. Regardless of whether or not Moyes stays this squad needs an overhaul. Vidic, Rio, Evra and Giigs are on the way out. Carrick and Fletcher can't be relied on. Young, Nani, Valencia and Cleverley aren't really good enough. These are issues regardless of who the manager is in the summer.

Last nights result leaves me confident that Glazers will make the right decision in the summer.

League: Complete disaster.
FA Cup: Complete disaster.
League Cup: Got to the semis and laboured for 210 minutes against a shite Sunderland team before eventually going out on penalties.
Champions League: Got out of an easy-ish group before being spanked by Olympiakos.

If all that football stuff doesn't faze the Glazers, the fact they will be losing out on millions upon millions of pounds definitely will. They will not risk another season of this, Fergie or not.

Also, I find it a bit strange that I'm hoping for the Glazers to save us from a situation that Fergie had a large hand in creating. Bizarro-land.

Mostly I see posters talking of how long they'd give him, but I wouldn't mind hearing some opinions of when posters realistically could see us making a change, when the superiority complex held by the clubs decision makers snaps and bows to the reality of todays money/results driven game.

What? And waiver his right to a large pay off and become unemployed with little options in the process? That'd take bollocks.

That'd be stupid. Why the hell should he voluntarily screw himself over? He hasn't done anything wrong really, he just isn't good enough. He was never good enough. That's not his fault, it's ours for ever believing he was. Nobody forced us to give him that big contract and nobody is forcing us to keep him as manager. If anyone is going to show some bollocks it should be the club.

Missed the game. Rather thankful I didn't bother to get up during the night to watch it now. Saw the result and knew the caf would have plenty of this sort of talk, and sadly I'm starting to agree with it. So far in 2014 we seem to be doing ok off the field with Mata joining us, Rooney just signing on. But one it things seem to just be getting worse. 3-3-6 (wins, draw, loses) is a horrible record for a team like us. Particularly when our wins have only been against Cardiff, Palace and Swansea, all teams in the bottom half of the table. What is worse is the way the team is playing is just horrible.

I could live with bad results if we looked like we were actually trying new things, but we don’t seem to be. We get a few false dawns against the bottom teams, but the next week it is straight back to rubbish tactics and team selections. I would be quite happy to see Moyes go now, give the next manager time to come in and work a few things out for the remainder of the season, because I don’t have any confidence that Moyes is going to turn this around right now.

If either the fans or the players turn on him they'll probably have to act. God only knows when that'll be but I think we have games against City, Liverpool and Olympiacos in a short space of time. If those goes very badly...

Otherwise the club will certainly keep him until Christmas next year at least.

For people who say he needs a full summer to rebuild a team, would you honestly trust this guy to spend 100 million or whatever we have saved up in the bank?

Sure, we might bring in a few big names on big contracts (given our position in the league), but tactically, do you really thinking he's suddenly going to change his style of play, when all he's shown us over the last 9 months is that he loves to play hoof ball and to pummel the opposition defenders into submission with crosses?

If anything, we'll be doing the same, the only difference being that we'll have much more expensive players doing it.

Say what you will but it'd take bollocks for Moyes to hold his hands up and admit he's not up to it.

Then we'll sack him, and the right person will come in and utilize these personnel more properly.

The more I think of it, the more I am convinced he'll be here until well into next season.

Nah, personally I'd lose respect for him if he did that. To be so overwhelmed by things that you doubt your own ability would be fairly damning of his attitude and character. I want to see more fight from him, not less. We should have to drag him kicking and screaming from the club, not have him meekly surrender just cuz things have gone wrong.

GET HIM AS FAR AWAY FROM OUR CLUB AS POSSIBLE in order to have a chance for the 2nd leg.

If we get through this tie, then its a matter of lots of luck and getting things your way to have a chance to win this thing BUT we won't win it with this ugly kunt leading us.

He has dragged our club through the mud and made us the laughing stock of the world. He's horrible. I was very vocal about not getting this mediocre joke of a manger, but now im just furious having him destroy us.

What is "fight," and all that cliched verbiage? This man, and his cronies, do not know how to coach at the very top level. They play percentage football that limits teams to around about where Everton would constantly finish. Until that is changed, whether it be through some outrageous improvement, or a new coaching team altogether, we will continue to loiter where we currently are.

Our 2014 form is relegation form, by the way. All the "fight" in the world isn't changing the reality of that. A manager that knows how to get a team passing the ball, at tempo, with some modern ideas would be worth a better bet.

Oh yeah, Moyes is definitely out of his depth. Right now it looks like it's only a matter of time before he's gone. No amount of fight is going to change that.

That said, I'd have a lot less respect for him if he doesn't even have the self-belief to back himself here. "Fight" won't make any difference to his fortunes here but it'll be pretty pathetic if he just gives up.

This, this and this.

As Moyes stated, I might lack a 'footballing brain' but for the life of me why is it so hard for him to plan an attack that puts RvP where he's most deadly?
In RvP's interview (with Dutch media) he said players got into his space making him go into other space... etc. If it is not the manager's fault, I don't know what is!!! *angry*

I saw the starting lineup and decided to put together a piece of furniture I've been putting off. Mostly just listened to the commentators. They were not kind.

He's playing RvP off the shoulder of the defenders trying to knockdown long balls from DDG. Moyes hasn't earned the trust to gain access to more funds nor has he shown the leadership required to convince a locker room of winners to trust him.

Why clear out an entire squad for a man who's shown zero vision or plan. He complains about a lack of luck when he's basically landed the luckiest job in football given his CV.

When announced I only placed faith in the fact he knew English football well enough to compete domestically. We're not competing on any front and we're clinging to a past history that seems to be eroding faster with every performance.

Here's a different question: not do you want him to go. Taking out your hatred/defending of Moyes, do you think he'll still by our manager by June 1st?

Depends on what the Glazers see after they run the numbers.

It hurts to see that all of our rivals have better managers than us: Mou, Pellegrini, Rodgers, Wenger, even Boas. You can see how these guys can make their team play attractive football. (Maybe not Spurs, but he has trophies to back him up).

I can't think how anyone can have 'faith' in Moyes to turn into one of football manager genius. Seriously? He's not an up and coming young manager who's still 'young and learning'. He's an experience PL manager who has been around for years. He won't change, he can't change (not at his stage of age and career). You'll get what you see now.

The poll has gotten a tad ridiculous. This is hardly a knee jerk, at least for some of us...

Was sacked earlier in the season.

This... I had given up on talking about him and just resigned to see us fall and fall until his sacking.
