Saw on the BBC that 53% of people think that he will flop. With a potential ban hanging over him for the Eva situation he's got to hit the ground running for it not to go pear shaped already. You know what I mean, I'm talking about an actual legacy for his successor. He doesn't plan anything beyond his own contract, LVG might not have performed as well as hoped but he has at least given young players a chance and given players like Rashford, Lingard, Mensah, CBJ and Martial plenty of playing time. Absolutely no way Mourinho would have played Rashford and given him the playing time needed to mature.

There is a clear divide between what some people here think and others in the country. I'd say a LOT of people are very wary about this.

I'm not happy about the appointment but like all Utd fans he will have my support. I think he is a great tactician and motivator but I am not convinced by the entertainment of his football or his willingness to give young players a chance. I don't think that's a particularly controversial opinion.
