I dunno, I mean yes you're right in that if it was going to have an effect it would probably have happened, but I'm not sure it would even have one by itself.
You're probably right there. Investors are really only interested in financial implications.

There are other outlets reporting the same, don't want to swamp the thread with tweets though.

Surely that nonsense about Zlatan coming in as assistant manager is something that's after he retires in a year or two?

When he does retire, he'll be made the Swedish national team boss the next day so I don't think we have to worry too much.

Signing Ibra wont do much harm to Rashford, he would still get plenty of game time and it removes some of the pressure that we have recently been putting on his shoulders.

My thoughts too. Would potentially create a nice balance and Rashford might be able to learn a few things from him.

Player/coach would make more sense.

I think it's more likely to be player/mentor/youth coach or something in the capacity. He's going to have to justify a huge salary and he's too old to play every match we take part in. I also can't see him taking training sessions, it's not his style.

Playing young players too much in their teens can sometimes have consequences later in their career.

Look at Owen and Rooney, shadows of the players they were once they hit their late 20's. I believe both players declines were at least in part caused from playing too much PL football from 16-17.

You can play too much too soon. Just because someone is good enough and can play at the top level doesn't mean they should all the time.
Look at Messi and Ronaldo, it's more to do with the players fitness and body shape than anything else. Regardless of whether Rooney played early or not hos body shape would hamper him as he got older, Owen was just injury prone.

Rooney shares the same build as me, I could tear it up from my teens till I was around 26-27, then I just dropped off a cliff fitness wise.

All the journalists suddenly rate Giggs really highly on Twitter. ABU the lot of them. Can't do anything right as far as they're concerned

Certainly adds fuel to the fire that he was at least one of the people behind the leak

Still believe that unless we get a great right winger and a creative CM and a top attacking right back we will still struggle to create chances next season, even under Jose.

Fact remains that van Gaal is at fault for not signing what we needed but it is also a fact that he didn't really have a good enough team with enough depth to challenge for the title. Now I sound like Rafa. :(

Same here, in the last 12 months everything has started to get tougher to maintain. But he has access to the finest nutritionists and personal trainers so maybe his drop shouldn't have been as severe.
