Utd fans need to stop complaining already. Lukaku, Martial, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Mata is a hugely creative and high quality attacking roster.
Have you awoken from a year-long coma?

It's the same as last season only Lukaku steps in for Zlatan. We need more up front, I don't think United supporter would seriously disagree with that.Utd fans need to stop complaining already. Lukaku, Martial, Rashford, Mkhitaryan, Mata is a hugely creative and high quality attacking roster.
I disagree. We got outscored by Bournemouth last season. Let that sink in.
I think there's validity in the concerns.
That's more down to Mourinho's tactics than the individual quality of your attackers. And the one quality your player have been lacking mostly -finishing- has been much improved with Lukaku coming in.
I don't agree with that at all.
It's not Mourinho's fault that our players are awful in front of goal. Not his fault that some are devoid of creativity when they approach the box.
Lukaku is basically a replacement for Ibra. He'll score more goals, but it's moot if the rest don't chip in.
Just close your eyes and imagine an alternative universe where it's not Man United, but Dortmund or Monaco who play a CL quarter with an attacking line of Martial, Lukaku, Mkhitaryan, with Mata behind them. Everyone marvels at their freeflowing and high scoring football. Huge clubs like United are rumoured to be interested in buying some of them.
There's plenty of clubs in Europe with better attackers than United's.
Not that many
What sort of a list is that? You don't even agree with yourself.Barcelona, Bayern, Real Madrid, Chelsea, City, Tottenham, Monaco(arguable now), Atletico(arguable), Arsenal(arguable), Liverpool(don't think they do, but could be argued), Dortmund(arguable).
I'd say that's a lot.

Our transition into RAWK is complete. It's been a good run lads.Absolutely true. I read somewhere that we hit the post/crossbar so much last year that had those landed in the net we would have finished 2nd. Surely, some of our attacking players will have better luck this year and actually find the net more often.

I'm amazed people think this team will 'come good' without major additions to it. Almost like they're convincing themselves/others they're intelligent football heads and not transfer muppets by being the opposite extreme.
And you can see that it's the quality a lot of the time that causes us issues, rather than Jose.
Simple asSame personally. I think people are being overly optimistic.
Those who argue, well it's Jose's 2nd season. Keep in that mind that in his last stint at Chelsea, he had a marvelous transfer window with Chelsea in his 2nd season. Made great additions that strengthened the team from the prior season where they finished 3rd. As it stands, that Chelsea team had improved more than we have this window and we need more of an improvement than they needed.
Then Real's 2nd season, they were already a very strong team prior to the season(2nd best in the world). Think Coentrao was their only addition, but that was a very strong team as is.
Then Jose at Inter for his 2nd season, they made loads of great signings that summer. Basically had the best transfer window by far of any club in Europe that summer.

Not sure why there is no movement in that respect. If the players he wants are not obtainable, well, move on to the next target.

I can see why Mourinho isn't happy. Whilst I have my reservations about Lukaku, he's a decent signing but it's questionable whether he improves our starting 11 from last season. Jury is out currently on whether Lindehof will even make our first choice starting 11. Given that, my current feeling is that we've spent £100 million to stand still.
We clearly still need a central midfielder - probably two really as Fellaini is nowhere near good enough. We also need a LB and ideally some more attacking options. My concern is that City seem to have gone out and got a whole bunch of players I think would have been ideal for us. We need at least two more big signings, otherwise I suspect it's another season of struggling to get top 4.
With Herrera injury today, we need to finish a deal for a DMF ASAP. Stop joking around.
Sequel to award winning Watch This Space from 2014 is here.
We have not been linked or seen any progress, even Jose saying it's difficult now. Doesnt need you to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out that we're struggling right nowHow the feck would you know that there's no 'movement' ? As if people at your club only worked on transfers during the exact time a respective transfer story is online
Explain Lukaku then? Everyone assumed he was a done deal to Chelsea and we were struggling to finalise a deal with Morata. Suddenly out of the blue it turns out we've been working on a deal with Everton for months that virtually no paper had picked up on. Transfer gossip is far from the be all and end all.We have not been linked or seen any progress, even Jose saying it's difficult now. Herrera got injured? How long for?
That also means any price for Dier or Matic just went 5 mil up.
And some people think we'll magically challenge for the league title despite the squad not actually being improved from last season when we finished sixth. We're going to need a great end to the transfer window in order to stand a real chance. Right now we are one injury to Herrera (or Pogba) away from a real mess.I'm amazed people think this team will 'come good' without major additions to it. Or our players not missing by far the most clear cut chances in the league, most in games that finished as a draw, along with our young players improving as you'd expect.
I've said numerous times - the performances of Pogba, Martial, Lukaku and Rashford will have a far greater bearing on our season than who we sign.
I'd forgotten just how static we could look in midfield until yesterday. It's so laboured and there's no way signing someone like Matic or Dier changes that. It's way too one dimensional.
