Mourinho | New old Chelsea manager

I wonder how celebrities keep their phone numbers protected from harassers... They probably have to change it every so often, unless they only give it to some 5-10 totally trustworthy friends and familiars or something like that...

Personally I think Mou likes SAF more than SAF likes him, and SAF's just not got the heart to tell him. Unrequited love is sad indeed.

Hardly think that would be the case. If anything, I trust more in SAF liking Mourinho (in a sort of "he's an interesting lad" kind of way) than the other way around.

Mourinho just seems too self-centred to appreciate other people. He regards himself as number one, and I doubt he's the type to like the one who is number two in his eyes.

I do enjoy pointless speculation about people I know nothing about :)

It's obvious he wants the United job.

Still good honesty, better than beating around the bush.

Humble from him. He had the courage to walk over to Fergie after the decision and say something too. It should be him or Pep taking over. No question about that.

I thought Mourinho conducted himself very well. No idea why all the haters. It's bizarre. It's as obvious as day that he felt the red card was unwarranted

There is probable also an element of pissing off Real Madrid there. He knows he's done there, I can see him belittling them even if he wins the whole thing.

I take back everything I've said about him, classy behaviour tonight and no antics from his team either

Yep.

Also, type-A winners hate unjust victories gifted to them for purely selfish reasons as well, since it makes them feel not like winners.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Mourinho himself makes mention of the ref in the media.

Thought he was very classy over the 2 legs. Set up his team to play proper football and conducted himself impeccably during this trip and especially on the touchline during Nani's red card.

What a week for him. He is an incredibly talented football manager

He's practically begging for the United job

I really hope we get him when SAF decides to sail into the sunset.

Don't want this guy anywhere near united. He reeks plastic. Every single thing he does seems fake. No respectable manager would try to act like he feels for the losing team because of a bad decision right in the middle of the game. Could clearly see his intentions there. He could have spoken to Fergie after the match. No need to cover his mouth and whisper something in front of millions of eyes. Also, Whatever be the bad decision, a manager should NEVER belittle his own team by claiming a moral high ground. feck off. He doesn't deserve our class. also he was completely tactically outclassed by SAF over two legs. With the squad he has, he couldn't do shit with it.

It's not like he does it all the time he wins due to a mistake or luck.

It's the first one I remember (not saying he never done it before, but I never noticed). He's being twatish to Real fans if this is all he has to say about the game. Would be more understandable in the context of a deeper analysis of the events. Real was lucky and possibly undeserving, but they still scored two brilliant goals.

We shouldn't get over ourselves because Mourinho is a politician but he did right by us in the interview, at least I think.

Jose Mourinho to ITV Sport: "Independent of the decision, the best team lost. We didn't deserve to win but football is like this.

"I am not speaking about the decision as I am not sure about it. Independent of that, the best team lost."

Err, what? He behaves well and you slate him. If he'd said the better team won and gloated over the result you'd have still slated him. This is not about Mourinho's tactical acumen or lack of it, it's about the fact that he behaved in a classy way which many others wouldn't have. You can't win with some people seriously.

I'm a fan of Mourinho and do want him next but its easy to be "humble" after your team got through

To be fair he's been there a few times hasn't he, having people sent off in big games, wasn't it something like that which provoked his tirade about refs loving Barca?

Not because of Mourinho but I hate Madrid. I just hope they don't win it. Wankers.

Prefer his arrogance to his fake modesty, he fecking nailed it with his subs, very smart guy Mourinho.

I can't quote posts due to some reason but Z is right, a solitary lol smilie is all that utter horseshit deserves

If it wasn't obvious what job he wants next it clearly is after tonight.
