One of the best midfielders in the league and still at a good age. Nothing to complain about here.
Interesting to know that he played against us in that cup tie we played against them in January 2009 (and the 2011 one). They were in a dire state back then, he really is a club legend there - been right from the bottom up to the glory days they have had in the last 2 years (Being a classy top half Premier League team getting into Europe).

Well the difference is Anderson was about 80% excitement over what he can potentially do and 20% what he's actually done. With Schneiderlin we're signing someone who has already been one of the top midfielders in the premier league

I would put Schneiderlin=Hargreaves, actually Hargreaves was even a better transfer (cold cover more positions on high level).
Seems crazy now but, at the time Anderson was considered arguably the best young talent in World Football.

One thing to note is that why didn't any reporter pick up on it earlier? There's a bunch of United fans on Twitter who were at the training ground who tweeted the reporters (before it was announced) saying they all saw Schneiderlin, clear as day, go into Carrington about 5 minutes after Schweinsteiger went in. Something dodgy going on there in regards to withholding of information for betting purposes?
