This weekend really has been incredible. Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger will improve our midfield immensely and make it quite formidable, while I think Darmian will be a very effective and shrewd signing.

Can't wait for the season to start, let alone the pre-season! :drool:

I wouldn't worry too much about it; Herrera will have his playing time. After all, we used to have a team with Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Hargreaves and Anderson as options in central midfield; nobody ever talked about overkill back then.

And what there is no news because of that. Can't they put one boy infront of Carrington who will be looking if sudenly some well known player come. They should dig for the news and give them to us. News which club don't wont to give away. They are probably the best news.

It is a big problem for them because this situation really show how bad they really are and some bosses must be furious.

The options we have in midfield now are just extraordinary. It's really amazing. We have mettle (most importantly now) & creativity to boot. It's just f*ckin awesome shenanigans..

2 top-class CB's & maybe 2 top-class Strikers & we'll all be havin friction burns on our knobs!

The guy on twitter said that he saw Schneiderlin go in after Schweinsteiger and the cameras must've picked it up. That and the blood samples have made this a very fecking weird transfer :lol:

I don't know how journalist work but United seem to talk to no one, not even the players or their clubs. If Les Reed interview is legit he is either a dangerous liar or we bought Schneiderlin without telling it to Southampton.
 
I'm really excited about this and I was thinking about how some of our players may or may not get to play but it seems as if everyone will get their fair chance.

... but then I started thinking about Mata. Will this mean less time for Mata? :( maybe it's something like this: Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Schniederlin for the two midfield spots while Fellaini, Herrera and Mata compete for who play in the hole? Or Fellaini is just a forward now with Herrera and Mata competing there? I'm not sure anymore. Maybe Mata will be on the wings and we will have a non-pacey but very controlled midfield.

I think it's payback for the way they, collectively, tried to push him under the bus for the whole Moyes shit. From the summer failure all the way to his sacking, going on about how he wasn't dealt a fair hand blah blah blah. The way we have conducted our business this year means that virtually all of them will have zero credibility when it comes to United matters meaning they lose their ability to stir up any trouble for us and they are going to have to suck up to Woodie and LVG if they ever want to get exclusives from us.

It is far better (even without the benefit of hindsight). Schweinderlin are better and have a bigger reputation than the crocks.
