Yeah De Zerbi would be good for him,however don't believe it helps us to sign Caicedo as still don't think we are interested

Agree we probably aren't we will buy site mediocre guy for the same amount as we always do.
Sancho for caciedo - with us giving Sancho a nice payoff would be a great deal for all parties. He'd thrive at Brighton - no pressure there to perform.
If we manage to move one of McTominay and VDB on and bring in Caicedo and Mount I’ll lose my mind with happiness, Caicedo has the potential to be even better than Kante and being a United fan could see him realistically play his whole top level career with us.
Would need to be some pay off your imagine. He's on what, £350k a week for another 3 years? Say Brighton can give him £100k a week, the lad would drop £13M a season for 3 years.
I am going to be super sad if this guy goes anywhere else than United. He's got everything we need in a CM in my view and would be ready made to play with, and eventually, replace Casemiro.

Chelsea need to be punished for being awful last year. Rice to Arsenal, Caicedo to us and Chelsea can be stuck dealing with the headache of Mount running his contract down.

We finally seem to have a clear run to sign a young quality player that we desperately need and yet, we don’t seem particularly interested in him. This club never ceases to amaze me.
At this moment. I will consider between those options:
+ Allround CM option = Rice or Caicedo
+ Versatile creative and offensive CM player. A cm 8: Kenneth Taylor or Mason Mount.
All those 4 players i think will improve and strength United midfield and squad.
2 from those 2 category and positions = United will look stronger and have more depth to compete far in the 3 biggest competition.

If Arsenal sign Rice, Caicedo a United fan should be a clear route especially with Madrid signing Bellingham. Caicedo is a monster of a player, we need him. He can play 6 or 8 comfortably. Him and Casemiro would be solid for those away games!! Sign him up!!

Problem with Chelsea's blunderous behaviour in the transfer market is it's giving them a clean run at targets as they simply issue a stupid price point that nobody else even thinks about contesting, what's more, the selling clubs are able to wrangle the kind of outlay they could have only dreamed about.
Whether by design or accident, Chelsea have become an absolute terror in the transfer market who'll not miss out on a single target unless directly rejected by the player himself. State clubs don't spend so wrecklessly and nobody else would even contemplate it.

Someone needs to save ETH from himself and his obsessions and get this guy instead of funding Chelsea's move for him.
Chelsea's new season will be wrecked if they dont get caicedo. Having missed out on ugarte. They need that DM to partner Enzo.
Chelsea paid 120m for Enzo, we're about to pay 100M for Rice so it's understandable they're trying to milk it. Probably one of the reasons Arsenal quickly gave up.
