Mo Salah

Went to fiorentina on an 18-month loan, but got a private agreement with them giving him the ability to terminate the deal earlier if he wanted. He had until June 30 to communicate his intentions to Fiorentina, never did, then afterwards(with him pretty much already having an agreement with inter) he told fiorentina he was leaving. Inter pulled out after Fiorentina took the player to court, and he signed with Roma instead. He eventually won the case anyways, but it was very cnutish behaviour on his part

Cheers, I remember hearing something but didn't know the details.

When do we reckon Barca or PSG will come in for him then? I'd bet on one more season.

Impressive stats. So out of left field if this guy keeps this up. He simply can't, and wont... as that would most likely make him the best player in the world when Messi eventually has to give up the crown. I just can't see it, and for sure not if he stays at Liverpool.

Really likeable and a superb player. Seems very modest and down-to-earth.

Shame he plays for Liverpool, he has been an absolute revelation.

Need one of the real big guns to come in for him soon. What’s annoying is Liverpool always manage to replace them.

If he does this again next season - or even something close to it - he's gotta be considered world class.

Fantastic player, always rated him but never thought he would of ended up this good in his first season. A real shame he plays for them.

He already is world class. Unless your definition of it is a fixed group of five or six players.

Yeah The Ox for Coutinho was a brilliant move ... Joking aside if he keeps on playing like this the big Guns will come again.. .

Just when you think you’ve seen it all, someone comes out and says Salah is better than Messi on current form as if they haven’t watched a single La Liga game.

He deserves credit for getting on with the game so quick after what would have appeared to him as a clear hand ball. Reacted and made something happen.

Inevitably people we look at his form and assume a bigger club will come in for him but quite often Barca/Real and now PSG are looking for superstars and I'm not sure Salah will ever quite fit that role (luckily for Liverpool). Same goes for Mane

Yes Salah is shit and Mane is shit, they're nowhere near good enough for Barca/Madrid and they shouldn't even waste their time looking at them ever.
pls

Chelsea made a big, big mistake not keeping the guy on their books (1). Likewise I personally feel that both City and even United should look at purchasing him (2) in the next Summer Transfer Window, especially since we both could use another RW in our squads.

(1) They only sold him at the start of last season, having been on loan to first Fiorentina and then Roma up to that point.

(2) Yes I know there has been no direct transfers between the two clubs in the last 54 years, but the fact is that a man of his talents should not waste his career winning very little at Liverpool (apologise to all the Liverpool fans on this forum, but the owners have got to address the issues you have in goal, in defence and in midfield to win the major trophies in European Football) and in turn this guy's talents trump any unoffcial ban in this reguard.

United and Liverpool dont deal with each other in terms of transfers. Liverpool would not want to sell to us, quite simple. City could be possible.

I think you better read the post again. They aren't saying these players aren't good enough.

 Liverpool wouldn't sell us Mingolet let alone Salah

I did kind of achknowlege the unofficial transfer ban between the 2 clubs, what I was trying to say though is that United need to defy this "ban" and try and sign him up. I mean it would not be the first time a club was forced to sell a player to a rvial...

Reguardless if Liverpool FC prefer to appoint Kelvin Mackenzie as their Chairman rather than sell Salah to United, then quite frankly City should go all out for him considering our need for addtional wingers and the fact we have already f**ked up in failing to get one of either Sanchez (3 times in a row as well) or Mahrez.

He isn’t really a winger for Liverpool. He’s great to watch though, a real livewire and I love his tenacity.

His movement with the ball is as close to Messi as we have ever seen in the Prem and it really hurts to say that.

I've been proven wrong by this guy, did not rate him when he arrived and predicted he'd struggle. Will be interested to see how long he can keep this rate of scoring up. Also very rare for a player to get better after moving from Serie A to England in the modern game.

Is he having the best personal debut season (if we can call it that) in the Prem of all time? I'm a little too young to remember the Prem in its first few years, but I can't really think of anyone else.

What a player he is. Didn't know he was this good. 21 goals at the start of February is a massive achievement. Could well surpass 30 by the end of the season and we haven't seen numbers like those from a wide player in the PL since Ronaldo left. My player of the season and I think he'll win the PFA awards too.

If we had a player like him on the RW...

If you can get Kane as well, you would have your very own MSN (or rather Starmer). Sure it would cost £300 million to achieve, but in the age of 9 figure transfer fees, it would be money well spent.

More chance of us buying out Klopp's contract and making him assistant manager to Jose. Liverpool would liquidate before they sell anyone to us, least of all their star player.

I don't think he'l go this summer, bigger clubs will probably wait another season to see if he can continue this form or whether this season is a flash in a pan. One great season doesn't make a great player, you need more consistency than that.

Salah, Mane and Firmino I think are beneficial of the system Klopp plays and, similar to players like Kagawa, Pizsceck and Kuba at Dortmund, I don't think they'l be as successful in other teams if they don't play the way Klopp does. They aren't very technically strong but have fantastic work rate and are also great team players so they fit this system. If they go to another team which isn't as fast paced and doesn't rely on high pressure closing down then I don't think they will look this good.

I'm wary of calling a player world class after one world class season (I know he was good for Roma too but not this good).

I honestly have no idea how shite he can be in his general play and conversely, so deadly in front of goal. Will be interesting to see if he can do this again next season. Signing of the season so far.

Between Salah, KDB and Kane for POTY. Will be interesting to see who wins it. If he keeps on like this next season, he wont stay at Liverpool for longer hopefully. While he improved at Roma, showing it in the PL like he did was a surprise. You have to go back for more than a decade to find someone from Serie A tearing it up here

I think unless Liverpool somehow win "number six" (please no!!!) the awards will, rightly, go to De Bruyne IMO
