Mo Salah

Amazing presence of mind to lift the ball up like that, though it was horrible goalkeeping.

Actually thought his decision making and general play was quite poor, but, utterly ruthless in front of goal and nearly nabbed the 3 points out of nowhere.

Should maybe add clarity, they got a lot of opportunities breaking 3v3 or 2v2 on the counter with him driving forward with the ball, and pretty much every time played a poor pass that got intercepted. It wouldnt massively surprise me if he doesn't keep his high level of form up, and has a bit of a drop off like Mane has this season.

Still, probably the #2 player of the season.

That was class from him but Verthongen showed Mangala level of defending in that instanc. That was terrible

He literally just waved him past. It was pathetic defending. Lloris should be doing better as well.

Lovely from Salah though. I actually preferred his first goal. Just can't beat watching someone place the ball so perfectly like that.

Hegazi is doing alright too I think even if WBA struggles.

Hegazi is a very good defender. Shame for WBA results though but he's strong and very good inside the box, a bit slow though.

We have moved from that painful era when our only known player in Europe was Mido who was a bit crap tbh. Now we have good and some well known players in Europe and England.

I watch Mido on the Arabic BeInSports, he is so fat nowadays

Exactly. It wasn't a drop of shoulder or a piece of skill. It was a simple ball shift.

He was starting to get too overweight by his last days as a footballer, exploded even more after he retired.

Triple chin and everything. I know he isn't Egyptian but Hatem Trabelsi looks as fit qnd slim as ever.

I think he’s on 21 league goals, 28 in all competitions. Ridiculous numbers.

The only good thing about Salah is that he is a good guy that doesn’t annoy me. Imagine him having an Alli-persona and still being this good for Liverpool, would be impossible to watch any games.

Probably an unpopular opinion but I'm getting sick of kids holding signs asking for shirts. It's popping up all over the country.

But what a devastating player, only 25. Liverpool have a knack for picking up players rather unchallenged, that go on to become players of the highest calibre. Suarez, Torres, Coutinho and now Salah.

Aka Suarez. Hated him, and I don't usually hate players, regardless of club.

I'm of the same opinion as you.

It's annoying me and I don't even know why.

As Egyptian, it's really good to see him performing the way he does in the premier league but it's shame he is doing it at Liverpool.

De Bruyne has been great but I think Salah should be POTY

I keep expecting him to drop off and the purple patch to end but he looks the real deal.

Liverpool will do well to keep him more than 2 years.

Very good player, they'll do well to hang on to him this summer, Liverpool the perfect stepping stone to bigger and better things for him.

Dont do it to yourselves you know whats coming down the line dont you?
Yeah but I’m hoping we can tell Madrid to piss off for a year. I think they’ll come for him. It’ll be interesting to see what they offer.

Be interesting if someone made a poll on here about this? I'm biased so obviously I'd go with de Bruyne but no denying Salah has a legitimate claim for it, he's been phenomenal. I anticipated him to be very good based on how he was in Italy but he's even surpassing my expectations.

He's phenomenal. Also such a nice character off the pitch, how can anyone dislike him even if he plays for Liverpool.

He just rubbished rumors of Real on twitter. Sadly, he seems like a down-to-earth footballer like Mata who might just be happy carrying on at Liverpool, which is bad news for the rest of us.
Look up how he left fiorentina...

What a player, so fast, energetic with a deadly end product.

Can’t believe I’m wasting my last post on a Liverpool player.

It annoys me. I'd prefer if he wasn't playing for Pool because he's quite likable. Hopefully he fecks off to Real.

Went to fiorentina on an 18-month loan, but got a private agreement with them giving him the ability to terminate the deal earlier if he wanted. He had until June 30 to communicate his intentions to Fiorentina, never did, then afterwards(with him pretty much already having an agreement with inter) he told fiorentina he was leaving. Inter pulled out after Fiorentina took the player to court, and he signed with Roma instead. He eventually won the case anyways, but it was very cnutish behaviour on his part
