Squad: U16s Levitt,Laird,Reid,Bughail-Mellor,Williams,Belehouan,Garner,McGhee,Ceesay + U15s Greenwood,Elanga,Mambuene,Smethurst,Wych,Hockerhull + some others + 2 trialists (a goalkeeper and someone called Michael)

Is that u16 group highly rated? Who are the standouts and who do you think we'll get deals in your mind?
Smethurst isn't in squad...
WE beat Ipswich 5-4 on pens after a 0- draw and Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 earlier today to finish the Mini Youth Tournament at Liverpool Academy.
2 x 40min games each day since Friday...good experience of our lads who had a very young squad.

Only have seen a few of them but from what I heard Levitt,Laird,Garner,McGhee,Williams probably wouldn't have problem getting deals.Bughail-Mellor and Broadbent might get it.Ceesay,Reid and Belehouan I have no idea.They also have Dolan and Allardyce whom I have no clue.And impossible to tell about the goalkeepers.
Maybe we'll see some of this lot in the u18s this year. Most likely Laird and Levitt. Is Reid staying now that Tyler's gone?
Also you said Dolan, is that the one that plays/played for city?

The team above is the one who played. CBJ wasn't in the squad but I believe he was in attendance. The squad you just linked is wrong, Williams is also injured and not involved and Ollie Byrne isn't even with the club anymore, he went to Cardiff. Also has a list of who played in the link on the score you just posted. ]
Mr. Mujac was also at the game and gave a little player rating summary in the match thread for those interested.
The u18s are at a tournament in Liverpool, Spurs, Ipswich amongst others are involved. Anyone have any idea about the squad we've taken down there?
U/18's finished the Liverpool Youth Tournament with two wins, two draws and two losses.
Thursday we beat AIK Stockholm 2-0 and lost to Liverpool 1-3
Friday we drew 0-0 with both Spurs and FC Tatran Presov
This morning we lost 0-3 to Ipswich Town and then beat TPS Turku of Finland 4-1.

I imagine theyre without at least Gribbin and Dearnley?
United U18s finished 3rd with 17 pts.They have some weird point system.
5 points for a win, 2 for a draw. Penalties after each game where you can get 1 extra point.
we need to offload this average feckers in U21 ASAP.....Mitchell cant get a game even in friendly games because of El Fitouri and co.

It's just he was at the game against Salford with Roshaun and wasn't involved at all. Was in full tracksuit, which seemed weird. Also he wasn't involved with the Wigan game and it doesn't seem like he's played any u18's(might be wrong).

He can't sign for us for another 2 years anyway so it wouldn't make much sense to tell Ajax he's leaving and risk not getting proper playing time for them when he can just say he's staying and keep playing and developing at Ajax and sign for us at 16 anyway
Will he still be able to sign when he turns 16 if Brexit happens?
I don't know enough on Brexit to answer properly but if the planned changes happen before he turns 16 it seems he'd have to wait until 18 and apply for a work permit
Does anyone know why Ollie Byrne's move to Cardiff hasn't been officially announced yet? I've looked and he's still listed as a United player on the official website.
As far as I know the departures of Dunne, Rothwell and Fletcher were all publicized on United's Twitter.
I might have missed something, but if I haven't then I don't really understand why they wouldn't announce it.

I connected them and got conformation that he has indeed left United. Something made the transfer take longer, I guess, maybe the international clearance like with Poole from Newport County.
Joe Riley trained with the squad today.
Donald Love and Paddy McNair are on their way to Sunderland apparently. Good move for both of them. A space has opened up (finally) at the rb spot in the u23's. Who's the most ideal candidate? Olosunde/Warren for me.
Love has mainly been playing as a CB though?

Same as the last game probably.El-Fitouri and Riley as the two fullbacks with Osolunde and Warren either play in other positions or on the bench (though I wouldn't against sending Riley out on loan, he's ready for it).

Clip collection of standout players during last season's U18s league.Featuring Rashford,Gribbin,Dearnley,Gomes,Bohui plus two of our former lads Joe Rankin-Costello (Blackburn) and Sam Smith (Reading).
Personally wouldn't be surprised if both Costello and Smith make it at their current clubs at this rate.Blackburn U18s should be interesting next season with 3 of our last season U16s there (Campbell,Thompson,Butterworth) all decent talents.Butterworth scored a hat-trick against Chelsea U18s last season and already scored a shedload on pre-season. They seem to do well on pre-season beating the likes of Feyenoord.

Levitt,Garner,Haygarth,Mambuene have a bit of reputation.I like Smethurst and (Max) Thompson from what I've seen of them.Thompson is sponsored by Nike.Smethurst is a small technical CM/RB.

No.They signed an U15 (from Fulham I believe) but he's not there.Doesn't look good for those U16s that are not in the squad, except for those injured (I don't know who).
