I really need to start building something. I built a little hut, near where i indeed to build, but iv'e been exploring a huge network of abadoned mines underneath. Problem is i keep falling in Lava. 
Could do with an add to the white-list, username same as forums: Tomalonge.

I have an end portal now Vol, it's behind the secret bookcase. But it links to one in the nether, and then when going back out of it it links to your house. Can't get back to my own.

Actually, I just started back the server, seems 1.3.2 client connects with this version of craftbukkit without any problems, my bad!!

Might be able to play online again now, had to swap laptops, but I don't seem to have offline game lag anymore. Offline lag, coupled with the online lag was too bad for me to play with.

There's a pigzombie in my house. He came through your portal vol and appeared in my house coming through my portal. The only thing is you can't get back to my house through the portals. Mine links to your nether area, then going back links to your house. There's no way to get back to mine so not sure how that's happened. But he's wandering around my house making zombie noises.He's now a prisoner behind my secret bookcase.

They spawn near portals, and despawn when you leave.

Yeah, it's supposed to give the illusion that they've found their way through the portal into the overworld. It's a nice touch imo, if a little pointless.
It happened to me, near my first portal.
Some pigmen were strolling around my nether portal on the nether side so I just thought they got teleported when one appeared on the 'upper' portal, heh.

Oh, and please don't mine the stone from the mountain I uncovered. I'm going to build my house into the mountain from stone blocks....so I'll try to utilise as much of the natural stone where possible.

It's only the rough marking of the border....not the foundation.
It took me bloody AGES to liberate that mountain. Should look cool once it has my fortress made from stone block growing out of it though.

Also, I won't be going too far underground with it....so feel free to expand your tunnel network under there. I'm planning on having a mine in another location, away from the main village, then running a rail line back inbetween.
Okay cool, well my tunnel network is down on layer 12 and 13. So that's a long long way down, so feel free to go underground building cellars and shit. You can go all the way down to the tunnels if you want, I only use them to find diamonds.

I'd almost finished the outer shell of my house too.
I decided not to build it from stone block. For now I've just used cobble. Reason being; whilst looking at pictures of castles for inspiration, I've become hugely ambitious and want to make an epic fortress. I don't really have the room there....so I'll build it in another location and just make do with a cobble keep in the mountain....for the time being.

Do what I did, put a nether portal at each, find where they both are in the nether and build a tunnel between each one. Then you can fast travel between each location since it's like 10 steps in the real world to every one step in the nether.
Also, if anyone needs wool feel free to use my sheep farm on top of my house. Please don't kill them though, and if a creeper manages to get in please try and lure it out before killing it. The last one to find its way in blew up all my sheep. I've had to put fencing up at the top of the big hill that overlooks it as I think they're falling off there.
