That happened to me when I first installed Sortex
 
It happens because the texture pack you are using isn't compatible with the update. You'll need a post-update version of the texture pack and then do the following:

Cleaning Your Installation

1. Hit Windows Key + R to open the Run console.
2. Type in and enter the following: %appdata%/.minecraft/

To reach the folder on a Mac:
1. Open Finder.
2. Navigate to the following: (Username)/Library/Application Support/minecraft.
3. That should open a folder, in that folder delete the bin folder.
4. Run Minecraft and let it patch. When that's done, close Minecraft completely.


Installing the Texture Pack

1. Save the pack's zip file to the texturepacks folder in your minececraft directory. (Do not extract!)
2. Click here to download the latest version of MCPatcher.
3. Run MCPatcher, ensure HD Textures, HD Font, CTM, and Custom Colors are ticked then hit Patch, then close it when it's done.
4. Run Minecraft and go to Mods and Texture Packs to select your chosen texture pack.

Simples.

New server is seeming reasonably good. Need some more folks online!
 
The IP address has been posted about a dozen times in this thread - redcafe.tanganaika.net

As for the whitelist fair enough, Vol will take care of that

Also: I'm aware that the creeper block damage is back, but the plugin that is fixing that hasn't been updated yet and doesn't work properly.

I'm checking for newer versions of the craftbukkit server and the plugins we're using daily so as soon as they are released I'll update them.
 
:lol: I just watched a creeper with a tnt block on it's head piss about on top of Urbans house laughing to myself, I then see it drop down, walk up to my house, stand on the pressure plate so the door opens (at this stage, creepers are blowing blocks up, so bye bye my house) and I'm stood there staring at it thinking don't come in, don't come in, don't come in.... eventually it turns around and walks off. Tense.
 
Can you ban above_beyond please, he just came into my house, told me I didn't live there and that Urban lived there (he lives next door about 30 feet away) without giving me any notice whatsoever, just killed me as I was typing out to explain, took all my stuff, then when I told him to feck off he lived next door and asked for my stuff back he said feck you bitch and killed me again.
 
He was on last night seemingly drunk or high or both, at least that's what we assumed
 
This guys a tool, he's on something for sure. He's told Matarese that he's sharing his house, despite Matarese building it, then he babbled for ages about something, logged out, back in, said 'sorry about that, hot girl at the door' then he's sat there saying WHY WON:T ANYONE TALK TO ME, saying 'Urbanned are we mates? ARE WE MATES?' when he said no he replied 'BUT YOU ALWAYS CALL ME MATE' after begging him for 20 minutes to let him live with him.

Get rid. :lol:

above_beyond has been banned, not sure personally if it's temp or perm yet, need to read the logs back and see what was that all about.

meanwhile, the first post of the thread has been edited with the relevant info for the server and static/dynamic maps thatnks to evil_geko :)

He was being a bit of a dick on Wednesday night. Odd, I've never really noticed him before!
 
What happened to grouse? I haven't seen him since the first 1.2 map. Is he on redcafe or one of vols friends?
 
im on, and you had better not roll it back Vol because ive just done a huge amount of work on my house :D
