Gaming Minecraft | New caf 1.18 SMP server SIGN UP?

Funnily enough the admin is away for the weekend and the server crashed this morning apparently :mad:

Waiting for another guy to sort it out, but I guess it doesn't matter as you have to apply anyway, will PM you Urbs
 
Just made an account on the forum and submitted my whitelist application, will let you know when it gets approved.

The main problem I find with MP servers is lag - if this one is relatively lag free then I'm game for the long run :D
 
My house is becoming the best ever. But it's hard work.
 
Anyone who was interested the server I was talking about is working again, please join it'd be cool to have a redcafe town! It has some cool plug-ins too.

Also on the redcafe server, I think we should make more of an effort to make the home town more of a town, more houses and stuff for us all to use!

Finished my house on the RC server. 3 floors, I think I need to put windows in the side of the 3rd floor, but then I'm done.

SkyGrid is so hard. I keep thinking I'm doing well, then I miss my step and die and have to basically start again
 
I'm gonna get back into this today at work. Gonna play on Hardcore mode and build a base on stilts so those cnuts can't get me.
 
Is everyone on the other one now? It's always empty when I'm on!
 
Nobody from here has really played on the other one a lot except me, peeps on here have just stopped playing online in general as far as I know.

Could do with a new redcafe server after today.
 
There is some really annoying bug I've hit at 1.2.5 which results in bad spikes of lag from time to time, dropping down to 1-2 fps for 30 seconds and going back to normal.

Seems it's happening more often around jungle biomes, but it's so annoying I've been staying away from the game for awhile now, waiting a future version that would fix that.
Tried the latest snapshot yesterday, but nothing has changed about the lag spikes, unfortunately.

So yeah, I'm not playing a lot of minecraft at all.
 
There has been so much griefing Vol, and it's so obvious who is behind it. Parts of my place have been totally destroyed by TNT, other parts have been dismantled and things have been stolen, not to mention the griefing done to blythy's house.

We should have a go at the SkyGrid map. We could always go back to the old map if you back it up. :drool:

I'm a redstone expert now plus we need to go on missions to 'The End' together, and build a town. :drool:
 
I don't know when I haven't been on the server much, but the same guys I PM'd you about a couple of weeks back surely.
 
I went on and my iron golem had been killed and my supplies taken :(

Just never really felt it on the newer Redcafe server, I missed the old fortress and ravine, the rabbit hole, the tower in the ocean and all the rest of it
 
I'd be up for restarting the RC server if that's what people wanted, I'm not overly precious about what I've got/built etc I just don't like griefers!

Your call but I agree with Walrus I think we as players just approached the latest server the wrong way, I'm sure we could get it active again on a new map. Obstacle (Mr Mantis) e-mailed me yesterday saying he had been busy working and wants to play with us again.
 
Would be a shame to shut it down Vol, but understand its your call.
 
I would be up for that. What would people think of (amongst other things) making a huge joint castle somewhere?
 
Sounds good, a joint project would give people motivation again I think.
 
Yeah I'm not so fussed about the RC server anymore, starting again on a harder setting would be good
 
If Vol wants to shut it down we could all chip together for a server, it'd be cheap as feck between 5 people let alone more, obviously would take some organising though.
 
I'd like to get back into it. I missed out on the second server and only joined when everyone else was well established.

A new world started would be cool. Or if Vol wants to shut down the server would happily chip in towards another one
