I think there's evidence of him actually doing thisI bet Delaney is the type to block anyone who brings up those articles on opinions.

Sexy??? He's made of lego blocks! Why can't they just grow up and admit it is because Arteta is sexy?
They have the right players for Sarri, looking at it from the outside. Lots of similarities with NapoliSarri or Benitez would be excellent appointments.
Sexy? His face is frozen as though it has been over botoxed. Why can't they just grow up and admit it is because Arteta is sexy?
Always like a bit of good news. Will be interesting who they can sign with absolutely no European football.
You are thinking along similar lines to me.Sexy??? He's made of lego blocks!
Never seen this before
Certaintly didn't help himself with a less than stellar summer. Partey hasn't been that great and there is talk of shipping him back to madrid. They let Mhkitaryan go for free and replaced him with Willian on big wages, who has scored a grand total of 0 goals this season.
Maybe because he wasn't a complete novice as the other two? He had years of experience managing Molde which people seem to just ignore and act as if Lampard's 9 months with derby or Arteta's assistant coaching job with Pep were basically the same as that.Just not good enough. Wants to be like Pep but doesnt have the players to do it, and too inflexible to adapt.
Big questions around man-management and transfer policy, although the latter is probably not solely on Arteta.
Funny to think that out of the three "homegrowns" who took over around the same sort of time (Solskjaer, Lampard, Arteta) its Ole who is lasting the longest/proving himself the most capable.
None of the Arsenal fans I know was "so positive" after the Villareal defeat. Literally all of them were at the end of their rope or beyond.
Me neither. Flores goes aggressively towards Sam, but Rangel probably saves his life! Not called Big Sam for nothing. Sam was a no-nonsense centre half and would likely have done him serious damage!Never seen this before
Basically means ”We are skint and can’t hire a new manager before the summer window as he will ask for assurances and a hefty transfer budget. Arteta on the other hand is on his knees begging to continue so doesn’t have the leverage to force our hand. We will promptly sack him once the window is closed and there is no opportunity to spend money”.
Time to start deciding when you play mate.Really sad chapter in our history we're experiencing. Just completely depressing. I was one of Arteta's biggest critics and even I couldn't envisage how bad he really is. A shocking manager.
A lot of intelligent people on the Caf have already said what needs to be said. That's one of the things I love about this forum.
I fear this is the nosedive into permanent mid-table status that we've been dreading. I really can't see a way back from this. The owners are sticking with the manager.
Just a complete opposite to clubs like Chelsea, who have promptly fired Lampard and brought in a much more experienced manager and look where they are now.
Arsenal's owners are not asleep at the wheel. They're very much awake and actively steering the club in the depths of the abyss.

I love that he puts his hands in his pocket and in the same movement exposes his belly, while still laughing right at his face. Like something you would see att Discovery channel.Me neither. Taking off Auba for Willian. Nailed his own coffin. Hopefully somebody can get appointed before July to get 1 or 2 of his own players in.
I don't know what to think about him, he brought some sort of defensive solidity but at the cost of everything else. I refuse to believe the whole Willian thing is on him, there must be some political stuff going on behind the scenes. Any sane human being would give Willian a year off in Brazil just so we never have to see him near London.
Guendouzi, Martinelli, Saliba (probably Auba too now) would be glad to see him sacked.
Miguel Delaney
On the Guardian Football Weekly podcast only a few months ago, Barry Glendelling and Jonathan Wilson both said they thought Arteta was a better manager than Ole. Asked why, they both agreed that "it's something about the way he carries himself".

I don't know, most links are media bs at the moment be it Sarri, Rodgers or Rangnick. I don't even care, anybody coming in trying to slot in Saliba, make Partey work and manages to get something out of our 300k pw striker is fine by me.Have you guys been linked with a different manager, who exactly and who do you want?

Well, at least he learnt something from Pep. : lol:The guy sets up so defensively and in a cowardly manner and then he has the audacity to come after the match and says we deserved to win. The guy is on drugs for sure.

I am talking about the way his team plays. I know you will bring the west brom game, Newcastle game and some other saying how they scored 3 goals. It doesn't matter, overall the guy sets his team to play in slow sluggish manner. I said it after your FA cup win, his football is just not sustainable. We saw that with van gaal. Slow sluggish. You guys were passing side ways in the 93rd minute. How can anyone like the football his side plays. I like to banter arsenal and hope he stays with you lot forever but one thing I always enjoyed with arsenal was their good football. What arteta serves is absolute pile of sh*t. Even as a neutral he makes me irritated. I can understand why arsenal fans have had enough with him.I don't think you can say he set them up defensively. He had a midfield that had Partey as the holder, with Smith-Rowe, Odegaard, Saka, Pepe. If anything in hindsight he should have played Elneny alongside Partey as it didn't look like Smith-Rowe & Odegaard knew how to play the 8' role properly.
