But yes I agree, this is fantastic and any fan of the genre should play it.
Just bit the bullet and sacrificed some of my booze and drug money for next weekend to get this (and Ground Zeroes for free). GZ installing as we speak and I'll set Phantom Pain to download while I'm in work tomorrow.

Had to force myself to stop playing this masterpiece. The most amazing thing happened. Some guard almost saw me so started to investigate, as he was honing in on my position i equipped my cardboard box with a poster of a soldier, stood upright and kinda startled the curious guard. He then stopped about 15m or so away, saluted me and ran back to his post.
Ive heard that Quite is missable, is that true?
Bears are hard to kill. Just got taken out by one just as I was about to be picked up.

So I believe it's an actual mission but I just stumbled into her by accident. I wasn't totally sure what to do because she is shooting you. It's in a ruins area to the North if I remember right. At first I tried to just creep up to her because I didn't want to kill her but it didn't work so I started sniping her back. When you get her health to zero you go to a cutscene pointing a gun at her head where I believe you can actually kill her. I didn't press the trigger button because I wanted her as my companion. Everyone at mother base is angry with me at the moment and want me to kill her though
I had a great moment earlier, was extracting but had multiple enemies ahead. I tranq'd one because I was going for a non-lethal run, I then dispatched a couple of others and realised I couldn't see the ZZZ above this guys head, turns out he drowned in 2 inches of water because he fell face down in a small stream.

How far in are you? I think I have done 5 missions and a number of side missions.
Have just expanded MB with Support and R&D sections, just upgraded the Fulton so I can collect small weapons and mortars. I love the upgraded scope - so you can see which enemies it is worth sending back, and which are, um, disposable!

About a couple of hours in. As usual I have no idea wtf is going on with regards to the story but I'm enjoying it. Also not quite sure why there's a need to put credits at the start and end of every episode; completely ruins the continuous and immersive open world feel.
You can probably find her in free roam but you are more likely to run into her on your way to a main mission objective, I don't think you will miss her, I can't remember exactly but I believe its Mission 10. I white texted it in case you don't want to know exactly.
Ah well, it's not much of one anyway.
Do the camp alert levels go back down to low. There seems to be an enemy guy who is going around everywhere telling me people I am around

The servers on this game must be being hammered! I haven't got online with it once, so I still can't do that ground zeros transfer.
I must have put in 25 hours so far and I come across my first mission where I got proper stuck. Took me an age to do it.
