I'm wagering to replace Fellaini in the summer
Its either Sanchez or Ozil I would guess. Not because we wouldn't want him but we might hit our wage bill .
DDG,Pogba,Lukaku and Sanchez probably completes that high earning list.
It's long been said over the years that we target wages as being the equivalent to 50% of our turnover, in which case I believe we have been under that figure quite comfortably for a while now (47% - the lowest in the league - reported in: http://www.skysports.com/football/n...and-efl-wage-rises-analysed-in-deloitte-study) - so even without the high-earners like Zlatan and Carrick leaving, we have a bit of room still to go to reach that level. And of course it is just a target - we've been beyond it before and the world didn't end.
I doubt wages would stop us if the manager wanted the player, especially on a "free".
Ozil and Sanchez for a combined £30-35m is insanely great business.
If we do get Ozil.
This is the kind of business Juventus and Bayern have been doing well over the last few years. Leaves money to be splurged on other positions.
Sanchez and Ozil.Signing Ozil and Sanchez for around 50 Mil combined and them playing to their best for the next 3 years is absolutely solid business and brilliant.
Shows Mourinho hasn't lost his transfer instincts and Woody is learning well.
Poor Wayne Rooney would be vexed he never got to play with them!
We've got a stack of players due to leave. Blind clearly has no future here, fellaini wants a move, ibra will leave in the summer or before, carrick has a heart problem, surely he'll retire now and there are a few others who could move on. That's a lot of money in wages right there. Its either Sanchez or Ozil I would guess. Not because we wouldn't want him but we might hit our wage bill .

Does it take much transfer instinct to know that Ozil for free is a good deal? Even Stevie Wonder could see that.Signing Ozil and Sanchez for around 50 Mil combined and them playing to their best for the next 3 years is absolutely solid business and brilliant.

Should we take him tooPoor Lacazette, still have 4.5 years his contract left and he will be 27y this year.
As others have said, United will be saving a wedge on wages due to the inevitable cutting of deadwood from the squad.
We can more than afford to bring in both Sánchez and Özil.
Think of the counter attacks
There'd be so many windmilling cocks on the caf that they'd wire us up to the national grid as a new renewable energy source.
Arsenal get Malcom and we tie up Sánchez.
We can the swap Micky for Ozil.
Lovely!

I can't see us getting both Ozil and Sanchez. Wtf are Arsenal doing letting these 2 run den their contracts to the point of leaving for nothing. It shows how poorly the club has been run.
No point in going for Özil in January as he wouldn't be eligible for CL. But yes please for the summer
Europa League isn't limiting a player to play in CL surely?
Getting him and Sanchez for a combined 35m would be a fantastic deal. I am not even sure that our salary bill will get up considering that Zlatan, Carrick, Mhiky, Darmian and Fellaini will leave.
It will leave us in a great position to go for an another top notch midfielder, and an another defender or two (especially if both Darmian and Blind leave, Rojo probably too).
I think that our team will be complete next season. Haven't felt this optimistic for a long time.

Isn't Goretzka going to Bayern? But yep, getting Sanchez and Ozil essentially for agent fees while getting rid of Mkhitaryan and his 150k/week wage would be great business.Sanchez for £10m agent fee + Mkh and Ozil on a free. Add Goretzka on a free in the summer for some wishful thinking. Be footballs best modern day business.
Too many defenders, do not like.
