Interesting. From reading the quotes it sounds 50/50 regarding whether Ozil will stay or go.
I now want us to get them both (Ozil and Sanchez) just to feck Arsenal over. Watch them spend their entire summer budget to replace them with inferior players and thus forfeit any hope of breaking into the top 4 in the near future.
I don't think there is any way Arsenal will sell Ozil to United this window. That was always going to happen in the summer if at all.
I also don't think there was any way they would have sold Sanchez to United in January either in normal circumstances. After what happened with RVP and now with Jose in charge, they just don't want to sell to United.
But the whole situation has gone so toxic that Sanchez can't stay and now City are trying to force them over a barrell. If he comes to United in January, City will have unwittingly set it up for United.

It sounds like the only options Ozil has right now is us or Arsenal. Arsenal could just be cutting their losses by agreeing to our move for Sanchez and ensuring Ozil is left at the club.

Next season is going to be really really exciting! I think the addition of these two puts us ahead of Man City's attack. We have the better defenders and goalkeeper so the only advantage they have left is better midfielders.

I'd love it if we could bring him in too. Summer is fine but to do it this month would be amazing. Old Trafford would be buzzing and we'll be in a good position come summer to focus on other areas.

Whatching Ox today was a reminder of how Wenger has lost his ability to develop and nurture talent. It will be interesting to see if Ozil will reach his potential in his next club. Same for Sanchez.
