Silly.Trust us to be left with the leftover after City pick up Sanchez.

Going to be a big mistake singing Ozil. No one doubts his quality, but he only seems to bring it when he feels up to it. We will have a part time player on monstrous wages. Trust us to be left with the leftover after City pick up Sanchez.
Maybe a manager like Mourinho and not a bottleless get like Wenger will sort that issue out? Ozil was good under Mou at RM.
So why hasnt Jose done that with Mkhitaryan?
Dont get me wrong, having Ozil be nice. On song, there's not much better. However, people do keep saying he was good under Jose at Madrid. He was, but that was llike 5 years ago now.

My point is that Jose is a much more motivating manager than Wenger. What’s Wenger going to say to you? Jose publicly outs players, gives them ultimatums, drops them if needed. No ones safe from him. He builds a competitive squad. So why hasnt Jose done that with Mkhitaryan?

Mkhitaryan has been dropped, and he’s never performed at Ozil’s level in the past. What’s your point?
Ozil himself spoke about how Jose’s treatment of him got the best out of him. Said so in his book.
Why it doesn’t work with Mkhitaryan is because not everyone is the same.
Mkhitaryan has a fragile mentality. Ozil is just a laid back footballer like Berbatov.
The more you push Ozil the better he becomes, that is not the same with Mkhitaryan who goes into his shell when you push him.
Ozil being twice the player that Mkhi is probably helps. Ozil even on his most shit days can provide defence splitting passes and moments of genius, when Mkhi has a shit day (most days) we might as well play with 10 men.
Mkhi is not as good as Ozil, I know that. However, we know Mkhi is much better than what he has shown this season.
My question is, why are we not seeing the performances we saw early on in the season, or even at Dortmund, and who's to say we wont see the same performances incosistecy from Ozil if he were to come here?
Duncan has said he is not our first option and interest us because he will command nil transfer fee.
Some main points from the podcast-
- Sanchez will move, could be as early as january due to bids by other clubs including PSG.
- Ozil is not first option, mourinho wants a more dynamic option at number 10. Does not give any names who he wants.
- Says Ozil will leave for one of the big 3, man utd,Barca, Real and may not go for a lower club and stay at arsenal.
- Says Jose wants to keep herrera at all costs and also young. Says Luke shaw's chance has gone and his contract will only be extended to sell him. Fellaini wants more years and high wage, no progress on that, Juan mata is expendable so is daley blind.
Because Ozil is a fundamentally a better player than Mkhi, Ozil has performed under Mourinho before so they know what’s required from each other, Mkhi has never in the past performed at the level Ozil did at RM and even times at Arsenal. My point is that Jose hasnt got the same performance from Mkhi that we saw at Dortmund, despite dropping him and giving them ultimatums, etc, so why are we thinking it will work with Ozil?
Ozil was just a much better player 5 years ago. Had more about him. He was also playing with top, top players.
Sell Mkhitaryan and Mata and bring in Ozil for free and another young talented #10. Makes sense for the team and makes sense financially.

I’d love to see Mkhi succeed, but I just think Ozil is a better player. And if there’s anyone that can get a boot up his arse it’s Mourinho.
If it's "fairweather" in May and he assists 3 goals for us to sneak the league from S***...it'll be worth 10X what we pay for him.Ozil is a bit of a fair weather player isn't he. How many of his 47 assists came in tough games, how many points has he won for his team with his goals and assists? Adding to the scoreline in a 5-0 game is nice and all, but it's not what you really need most over the course of a season.
Though, he'd most likely be a decent upgrade over Mata and Mkhi. They both seem to be nearly done here.
Silly.
What motivation does he have to play well for Arsenal apart from a top 4 finish and the odd FA Cup? If I played for Arsenal, I'd be tempted to collect the pay and slack off too.
Put him in a team with an ambitious manager and he will follow suit. This could be like the Matic signing where he really steps up for us.
However, I don't think him signing is a given. At the moment, Jose's non-commital response about him suggests he is a target, but whether he's first choice or not remains to be seen.
He's disappeared in big games even when he played for better sides like Real Madrid and Germany, he's that type of player, no guts.

Yeah true, Luke Shaw is at the same level as Ozil.Like he is apparently doing with Luke Shaw?

The leftover? What's so silly about my comment?
imagine the damage we'd have done on the counter with him in our side today.
After the game scenes.
Before the game he was very "paly" with paul pogba. Looks like he is throwing himself at us, I think he knows he is second choice but is batting his eyelashes at us.
Well they lost a game 3-1 to top 4 rivals and him coming down specifically to meet all of them and smiling (i saw it on tv) , lets say he knows he is being linked to us and was aware of what he was doing.Interesting yes but he probably knows most of our management team from his real days.
Who would he have replaced in today’s starting eleven though ? Couldn’t leave Lingard out on that performance.
