If he’s choosing PSG we should really be looking to hijack it.

Playing in Ligue 1 is going to slow his development compared to the challenge of the EPL or La Liga week in week out.

We can surely match whatever PSG are offering financially.

Still confident we’re the best option for a young lad wanting a strong challenge in the coming seasons while playing with some of the best and against some of the beat week in week out. Not to mention a big pile of money to go with all that.

If he’s got any ambition, he’ll end up in the PL
I can think of at least two better options in the PL than us if that's his criteria.

Unfortunately can't offer him champions league football but can satisfy his wage demands and Mino's agent fees.

Woodward needs to get on a plane to Paris before it's too late.

Reckon city might steal in with this one- why would they be interested in Maguire but not de Ligt?!

I honestly don't mind if he goes to PSG, we don't have any history or rivalry with them. We play in completely different leagues and rarely pair up when we're both in the CL. I know people hate them because of where their money comes from but anything that annoys Barcelona is fine by me, signing De Ligt would've been huge for their rebuild once Messi hangs up his boots, missing out on him might crash them back down to reality for a few seasons at least.

I don´t even consider United as a serious option for de Ligt. Barca and PSG are way more attractive. The L1 is worse than the PL but PSG is still the better option than United. Better squad, higher ambitions, better coach, better salary and CL. I expect the transfer agreement between Ajax, de Ligt and PSG pretty soon.

Exactly. Somehow people fail to see that it's not a flukey CL final. It's deserved back to back CL finals coupled with 97 points in the Premier League, losing the title by a point.

Liverpool are one of the best teams in the World.
I know it hurts, but the facts speak for themselves.
We need to focus on ourselves, get rid of Woodward and only then can we begin to improve and displace LFC and MCFC at the top of the EPL.

I genuinely don't get the PSG talk, not sure why he'd be excited by them.

We apparently gave him a very lucrative offer so PSG must be offering INSANE money If it's that much better.

Every Dutchie I have ever met has been batshit crazy.

For that reason I think we are favourites.

Can't help but despise Barca and RM with all their up their own arses self importance bs.

Don’t think so, City are usually very sensible among the top clubs in the sense they don’t really get caught up in dramas and sagas for incomings.

If Maguire is their target they won’t feck about elsewhere until it’s rejected.

Will be very surprised if he ends up at Utd. Much more attractive options out there for him you would think.

Ask Neymar or Mbappe.

Don’t understand how people find it hard to believe PSG and living in Paris is more attractive of an option compared to a desperate struggling club with an unproven manager.

You’re the first person to say this.

Mbappe is french so that's different.

Neymar was given an insane amount of money and practically pushed out the door by Barca, I don't think he truly wanted to leave - he's bored there already and wants to return.

I just can't see why if he's as ambitious as he makes out, that he would want to play in Ligue 1? He's never once mentioned that league by name (premier league several times).

These links have suddenly come out of nowhere, I wonder if Raiola is feeding Di Marzio to keep the hype up.

And yet here we are, finished 6th in league, look miles away from winning the league and thinking this young lad is chomping at the bit to sign for us.

I find Verratti heavily overrated - has he done anything at PSG? I hope De Ligt doesn't end up the same.

Verrati started out with some massive hype & now I hardly see him do anything whenever I watch him for PSG or Italy. Atleast not resembling the initial hype he was carrying.

Said the same earlier. Add missing the world cup to that and his platform to perform and impress the world has been just the ignominious PSG exits from the CL...he has arguably wasted his best years.
