He could actually be on his way to Bayern. He made it clear in the interview that there are other leagues than the premier league and Spain so he left the door open. Hope to see him in the PL though

Doubt he'll go to Bayern. Changing Eredivisie for Bundesliga is like upgrading Lada with Fiat Uno.

De Ligt mentions how much he values playtime, even if Boateng leaves Bayern they still have Lucas Hernandez (who they spent a generous amount on in January), Hummels and Sule already fighting for the CB spots.

EDIT: haven't they signed Pavard too, actually?
 
We’re being used to get Barca to up their bid. We all know it.
Let’s hope Barca calls Raiola’s bluf soon so he has to crawl back to them and admit De Ligt never wanted to go to United.

Griezmann is the alternative and the deal is advanced? That's what I got from bing translate..
 
Barca have moved and are looking for alternatives to both De Ligt and Griezmann according to Gerard Romero.

  2. Give away the chuckle brothers to a Chinese club
  3. Sign a set piece specialist
  4. ???
  5. Profit
 
Can't see him going to B. Munich there going to try and spend alot on Sane. They won't spend big on de Ligt as well in the same window.

Yes they have. Atm: Hernandez, Pavard, Süle, Hummels, Boateng.

Boateng is expected to leave and Kovac (if he stays) might go with a back three (Hernandet-Süle-Pavard) and push Alaba and Kimmich up the pitch if they don’t sign a winger. They might sell Hummels as well.

Still i can’t see them spending on a third defender when they need at least two positions way more.
Bayern is also one of the few teams where de Ligt would not be a guaranteed starter.

No you didn’t ask a legitimate question. It was a ridiculous premise.

De Ligt has stated a preference for England previously, is a big fan of Rio and Barca has the largest wage bill in Europe by a distance.
 
If he came here it would be doing us a HUGE favor. We arent in the CL, have a very inexperienced manager with a terrible end to the season, upper mgnt that is being portrayed as inept, players who are sub standard.

If he comes it sends a grest signal to other players about the seriousness of our rebuild. MdL is probably the biggest name young player in the world atm, described as a generational talent. The type of player we need wants to play with the best like him. We need winners in the club with bite, and ship out the likes of Martial asap. That would send a big message.

We can do it by supporting him with the acquisition of talented players who are desperate to win things. And get rid of some of the bad apples we have now like Martial. Then he wont regret moving to us and we will have repaid his faith.

1, not happening.
2, Smalling and Jones are hear to stay, because they are cheap to keep on our books.
3, not happening.
5, now this is what specialise in - I see our profits increasing this year, by not spending money on players.
