But after half of the season i have to admit that Kim and Upamecano are way better suited to Kompanys type of football.
And both are having a really good season so far (apart from the game against Barca).
So i think in the end Eberl and the people in charge made the right decision to sell de Ligt.
And as far as i can read on here most of you are happy with him, so everything is fine

He's been a consistent 7ish out of 10. Not even close to being worrisome defensively compared to his peers like Martinez when a ball is floating over his shoulder and or there's an attacker running at him.
The defence is the most complete section of the entire team for ability, balance and experience. A run of games with Maz, De Ligt and Yoro and when the wingbacks come in summer I wouldn't be surprised if United have an outstanding defensive record in the following seasons to come.
