Worst scout to ever exist
So where and how does he suit Amorims system?
A hybrid mix. Plays both to good effect. Similar to young Martial, not as silky but more efficient in front of goal on either foot.Anyone seen him play? Is he going to play upfront or on the wing?
CF is my guess. So where and how does he suit Amorims system?
Hope so as that’s the most obvious route into the team with Zirkzee and Hojlund not delivering.from what I've seen at Bayern, he's always felt more of striker to me, not a winger. I rate him. Would absolutely love a loan for the rest of the season.
On the YouTube vids it looks like he plays more on the left. Gives Martial vibes when he was 19from what I've seen at Bayern, he's always felt more of striker to me, not a winger. I rate him. Would absolutely love a loan for the rest of the season.
His shooting technique makes Zirkzees shooting technique look semi pro.
Hopefully if we get him he’s more young Henry than young Martial. On the YouTube vids it looks like he plays more on the left. Gives Martial vibes when he was 19
16 goals for Bayern by the time he turned 19. He’s very exciting.Oof! Well that IS an exciting compilation.
Interesting despite the supposed U-turn yesterday after rejecting Spurs...
Always believed he'd be off if Arsenal or United came with a loan offer rather than stay on Bayerns bench for the rest of the season. He simply didn't want Spurs
they exclusively used him as a striker in his first season. They only started shifting him to the wing when they signed Kane.On the YouTube vids it looks like he plays more on the left. Gives Martial vibes when he was 19
Didn't he indicate to Tottenham that he wanted to stay at Bayern just yesterday?
If that is your front 3, where would you play Bruno and Kobie. What’s his hold up play like? Could it be him upfront with Garnacho and Amad behind. Now that’s a very exciting front 3
levy wouldn't stop messaging him so he had to do something drastic.
The admittedly little I've seen of him he seemed to just follow similar positions and style to Rashford, so more a wide forward/wide poacher... But here's hoping. He's only 19 and obviously has big potential, but a loan for this season probably isn't doing too much to change our season in any way given where his current level is and what our squad lacks. We need a reliable goalscorer, he's not that. We need a top #10 or someone ready for that step, he's not that... Here's hoping that he makes a rapid jump though and was maybe just waiting to play in the CF position..CF is my guess.
He just said he didn't want to join Spurs, the noise was always that he wanted United above other optionsDidn't he indicate to Tottenham that he wanted to stay at Bayern just yesterday?
Really don't think he's the profile we should be going for, as we're desperate for assured goals with two already young strikers looking hopeless at the moment. Happy to be proven wrong.
Beggers can't be choosers in January (or February). If he lights it up, then we can sign him up permanently in the Summer. If not, then someone like Gyökeres or Osimhen will be targeted, I'd assume. To tell the truth, one of the latter two will likely be targeted regardless.Really don't think he's the profile we should be going for, as we're desperate for assured goals with two already young strikers looking hopeless at the moment. I’ve seen him play. I watch Bayern quite a bit. I’d be very hesitant buying him for the quoted fees. If people get frustrated with Garnacho, they’ll be even more frustrated with Tel.
He’s much more direct than Zirkzee or Hojlund. He plays more like a wide forward, dare I say similar to Rashford off the left. He can and has played as a striker but I wouldn’t think of him as a striker first and foremost. Likes to cut in off the left and shoot.
If it’s a loan, or outright permanent but we’re patient as a fanbase (Ha!), there is enough there to be excited about. He’s young and has room to grow.
Just please don’t expect him to come in and change our fortunes immediately. Don’t micro analyze every performance and rush to call him brainless.
Yeah seems like one of those players who need a 3-5-2 or old fashioned 4-4-2 type system as they aren't a lone striker, but also are not wingers. Kinda hoping we don't do this, though if it's just a loan it's not the worst thing that could happen. Just don't spunk a bunch of money on someone who doesn't fitI’ve seen him play.
