Who cares what the option to buy is, just get him in and renegotiate the buy option at the end if he's actually good
He's played 458 competitive minutes this season, so it's fair to say that he's not had much consistency of game time. Yes, it's a concern that he's only registered one assist this season, but if we can be in for a loan only (with or without an option to buy), then I think it's worth giving it a go since currently we can't rely on only Hojlund and Zirkzee.A player with 0 goals this season is a improvement ?
Zaha apparently but right footedWho is he similar to in style? A comparison from 20 years ago is fine, I'm old.
Option to buy versus mandatory, see how he does first.I would take him loan with option triggered by number of appearances 40 mill.
Offload Rashford and bring in Cherki for that 22 million which is essentially reimbursed by Sancho's sale in the summer. 62 million for two sought after / reputable attackers which is closer to 37 net with 25 mill from Chelsea.

Anelka had absolutely blistering pace. I’m not seeing the comparison, other than French, black and plays in a similar position in the same sport. He reminds me of a young Anelka personally (nowhere near as good)
darn spell checkWho?

Thanks. There is no clear answer, that's probably why. Somewhere between CF and LW. Might trend a bit more towards CF once be fills out
Anelka at 17-19, was the greatest player ever at that age. Pele level.Great pace, times runs well in space between full back and defender, very natural finishes when they score, good feel for the ball, wiry strength.
Just not as good because young Anelka was astounding.

On the Transfers podcast last night, they said he can play as CF and a winger, though his gripe at Bayern seems to be that he isn't getting enough game time at CF, which is his preferred position, due to a certain Harry Kane.Is he actually a centre forward?
Nonsense.Anelka at 17-19, was the greatest player ever at that age. Pele level.
Excuse moiAnelka at 17-19, was the greatest player ever at that age. Pele level.
Does he? Apparently he’s not all that natural upfront and may be suited to the wide roles. Doesn’t like a dead cert level talent. The Quenda links are much more exciting for me. Upfront u feel we need someone more reliable. He reminds me of Isak, think he’ll develop into a top striker, he has the technical ability and physical attributes combined that we lack in our strikers.
Agree. Even if we can’t afford the sure thing we need the near sure thing talent version. This guy seems to have a lot of question marks.Don't want to be party pooper (especially because i also like this kid) but isn't he wrong player to sign at THIS moment? We need proven goal scorer not another "young and learning".
If we are replacing both Zirkzee and Hojlund with Tel and proven striker (Osimhen or Gjokeres) then all good.

Cunha is not a CF, however, what issues do you see with his overall game. I don't watch Wolves all the time, but when I do, he seems to be able to do everything you want from an attacker at an extremely high level - he carries well, dribbles well, is strong, passes well, and mucks in with defensive work too.Only tough part is that “established quality” in attacking spots is so fecking expensive these days. You’re either overpaying for someone that’s a bit too old, or buying a player that’s “good” but still unrefined completely and doesn’t guarantee a success. Isak is the only one that comes to mind for me as being a nailed on top transfer for a big fee (also why he’s my dream signing), but so many others are either like Cunha (who’s overall game is great but certainly isn’t a bagsman at this point), or Osimhen (who’s probably going to add guaranteed goals but is going to cost more than he’s worth and still has clear flaws).
Top attackers just feel unbuyable unless you’re already a top team willing to blow an entire summer budget (like Arsenal potentially this summer) to bring in someone to take you over the top

Agree Rooney was special. Anelka was very lethal when at Arsenal, the league was not ready for the newfound athleticism of that team and he got the most benefit. Once he went abroad he was nowhere near the player as he was not getting those same chances on a plate.Very good player, but this is completely wrong. No where near Pele or even our own Wayne Rooney as a teenager.
Great yarn, with the Lévy flight, then home empty handed. Far more activity than I expected in this window. I have no idea of the ability of this guy - may karmic forces/angels/wicked magic guide us to the good placeSo looks like I found my addiction for the weekend. Refreshing this thread until the kid signs.
Just watching sky sports who are alleging we have made a "verbal offer" to Bayern for Tel
Fenomeno at the same age has something to say about that.Anelka at 17-19, was the greatest player ever at that age. Pele level.
So does our record goal scorerFenomeno at the same age has something to say about that.
Exactly, teenage R9 was a million miles better than Anelka ever wasFenomeno at the same age has something to say about that.
Slow down, ain't nobody signed yet, and Tel still has to prove how good he is in the long term and amongst the big boys, too.Love seeing us sign talented young players. And by talented I mean literally talented, not Hojlund kinda talented
