100% a Dad joke.
He's one of those players managers love but fans typically just don't see it (Jesse Lingard was similar in that regard). It's interesting that even Amorim has been hailing Mount's high technicality, and yet, the drop off in creativity from Bruno to him feels rather stark.

In before someone tells you he isn't rubbish.1 G/A since he joined
He has 10000 presses thoughIn before someone tells you he isn't rubbish.
But atleast Mount doesn't do any funny dances or handshakes. We may as well have just brought lingard back for free to do exactly what mount has done and he probably would have spent less time out of the physio room

Mesmerizing move meant many millions misspent. Meanwhile, Manchester meanders midtable midseason.Mason maintaining mediocracy, making Manchester men moan more
Could also have kept Sabitzer basically, offers similar. We may as well have just brought lingard back for free to do exactly what mount has done and he probably would have spent less time out of the physio room
This brought back memories of ancient odes to Donny. Not so much the energy and zip, but definitely the confusion and the evergreen promise that he would work brilliantly in an entirely different team.More often than not, small sample size perhaps, but we usually look better with him on the pitch. Purely because he actually plays with a bit of energy and zip, looks to make clever movements.
He does still confuse me a bit. But I do hope we see him in a proper technically well drilled functioning team one day.
His finishing was awful but did get into some good positions.
Sounds like the wife's appraisal of my own performance.

Sabitzer did score for us.
@cyril C said Sabitzer did score for usNeither does Mount, what's your point? At least Sabitzer was cheap.
He was handed 2 goal scoring opportunities on a plate and wasted both.
As some have already said, keeping Fred would have worked out better.
