You have a point, but I like to impact of a Rashers should not be overlooked. I feel like the Gen Z and below kids are very much focused on social justice issues (much more so than my old Millennial ass was), and they probably look up to someone like him for that, along with his product on the pitch of course.
Thought of that too. But at the end of the day winning matters?
They will idolise Rashford like they idolise Shearer or Fernando Torres or similar. Great players, but just not perennial winners.
Of course that's assuming Rashford doesn't win anything significant with us in the coming years.
