Is Greenwood ahead of Gomes and Chong? I was going to tune in to your game as i assumed Gomes was going to play, heard he could be another Sancho.
Greenwood is on a tear, Chong and Gomes are developing well but still have a way to go physically, while Mason is big and powerful for his age and has been exceptional for a year so probably right to sneak ahead at the moment.
Yeah, Greenwood's been a revelation since he broke through. There's not much between them though, Gomes is still a brilliant talent, we might see more of him in the tail end of the season.
Chong and Gomes are good players who have a chance. Greenwood is an incredible prospect who to many looks an absolute certainty to make it here. He just turned 17 a coupe of month ago.
Bet he scores if he comes on with a decent amount of time.
If Chong and Gomes didn't make it by 20/21, they won't make it.

Thought bringing on Greenwood instead of Lingard would have been a better sub.
Lingard was key to us start actually playing a bit. The fact he can do basic pass and move helped greatly.
Agreed, Lingard was good when he came on. Just feel bringing on someone who this game is important would have gave us somethint we needed.
Putting Greenwood in this team would have been child abuse... He worked all these years to get into the first team and than has to play in a team which plays worse football than the youth teams he played in?
Got laughed at before for saying I’d play him ahead of Lukaku but I maintain it. At least he can control a ball.

He's the best attacker we have. Sad to think. The lad will leave in the net 2 years ala Sancho because no point in him developing at a failing club.

Sancho left because he had so many quality players in front of him. The only 'real' centre forward Greenwood has in front of him is Lukaku. The possibility that Greenwood will get a chance is a lot higher than Sancho had... however with Mourinho as manager those chances might still not be very high.
He does get compared to RVP often on this forum and RVP developed pretty well at a failing club, only to win the league at a topclub...
So who missed out if Greenwood was on the bench?
Hahahahahahaha and Juve lost as well....we could actually have gotten top spot . Irony is we'd probably have done better starting Greenwood. Because this team is so unprofessional. Fully agree with you. Lukkaku has been treated as a golden goose, still keeps getting games despite some awful performances. Greenwood is deserving of a chance and as a minimum it would introduce competition to drive up standards
