If we get 40+ (add-ons), given that getafe get a chunk, it'll be good business.
We need to snap their arm off if true
Injury worries for sure but he'd be the most technically proficient forward we'd have in the side from the offset

Juve are reportedly willing to sell him, some reports said €30-40m which is fair given he hasn't been in fantastic form since his injury.Eh? Why would Juventus do that? Getting a strong whiff of BS from this.
Completely agree. This is where I disagree. All we saw was high potential playing in a counter attacking style, before it all came crashing down. Only time will tell if he can turn that potential into an elite striker but I’d reserve that word elite for the very best.
Chiesa has never convinced me. I'd rather we just took the money.

I don't understand why past is still in quotation marksIs any reputable media confirm the report of 20% sell on clause for Getafe? I know Murtough is no genius as DOF but I refuse to believe he is so dumb.
Greenwood real value is approximately 60-70M. But given his "past" we should accept 30-40M with a sell on clause.
This is a win win situation. I like Greenwood and hope he stays especially given our current attacking options. But I know it's not possible and for the benefits of his family and him he should stay away from England.
He is still very young and can have a great career in Europe.
Our fanbase are awful. We have one of the gifted player like Greenwood and want to sell him for penny. He made a mistake but his partner has forgiven, let him alone people. I hate the western woman’s right
Don’t worry you don’t have to.Wow. No idea where to even start with this post!
Big of you to admit it.Our fanbase are awful. We have one of the gifted player like Greenwood and want to sell him for penny. He made a mistake but his partner has forgiven, let him alone people. I hate the western woman’s right

So just their basic human rights then?

A player swap doesn't make sense for us. We need the money on the books - it has to be a fee.
This. Anything else will never happen. Total non-starter.A player swap doesn't make sense for us. We need the money on the books - it has to be a fee.
You can join the "we'll buy your guy if you buy ours" gang. I think Juve are founder members.

That would be for the best all round I think. I don't know how it would work from an accounting perspective but when the trouble hit and the club realised he would be moving on, would they write down his value to £0? So, essentially anything over zero will be good business. Hopefully he and his family can have a happy life moving forward and the club can focus on the new season.Yes, yes. Turn it into a bidding war!
Yeah, I'm with you on this. I'm not blind to our own wealth down the years when we could buy players like Berbatov for major money but we also had that skill at discovering the right character to lots of players. This season though I've started to feel quite jaded and it's nothing to do with our play in all honesty. It was when I was talking about Everton with a mate who's a toffee and I realised I had to ask what their 'real' position was in the table due to these points deductions. The people responsible for those infractions might not have been there any more, and might even not be alive! But 115 is all OK...I am a big fan as well of American Football and I really like the concept of 'any given Sunday'; it's not perfect but I think the Premier League could learn a lot.I wouldn't be surprised if we did - there is probably a deal like this to be done with Everton re Branthwaite, if they are open to it (Maguire or McTominay perhaps going the other way). Isn't it depressing, though, that the more rules that the football governing bodies bring in, the more apparent it becomes that clubs just have no care whatsoever for the spirit of the rules or, more generally, the health of the competitions they play in. I mean, unless it is specifically forbidden, you can sponsor yourself, and you can declare your entire first team to be asthmatic, and you can amortize transfer fees over eight-year contracts, and you can sell hotels to yourself for profit, but just because you can do these things, doesn't mean that you should do them! I suppose I am just naive.
Yeah, you dont watch him much do you. Juve wants to replace him and you are not suspicious?Cheisa exchange would be a good option, the team is low for quality in the wide areas.
Well, I had read lot of comments in social media about what people think of Greenwood’s case including asking them directly face to face. It seems lot of people from Africa and Asia are willing to give him second chance. While lot of people from America and England seem to refuse to give him second chance.
It seems there are culture differences in how people from different countries view this case. Some countries tend to forgive someone easily and I spoke to some of these people and asked ‘’why’’, and they told me if the wife can forgive and accept him back, why can’t non-relative do the same. While some countries prefer to give the player a punishment for the benefit of other people to reduce more victims in the future.
I think it’s for the best Greenwood to leave so all united fans and the club can move on from this ASAP to avoid controversy and also it benefits the player and the club. Because if he stays in England, there will be lot of noises surrounding him and it can affect player’s performance and mental health, and also affect other people including the club.
