25 mil seems a little low especially if multiple clubs are interested. But I do wonder if our financials are limited whether we’ll take the money and run so we can focus on bringing in players

We can surely get more than 25m for him......he is still a very good player and he is young......i wouldn't accept anything below 40m.

A bidding war is on the cards. Looks like we can get 40m EUR
Hope you're right but I don't see Valencia going much higher than 25. I imagine ineos will want to get this done asap to boost our kitty for incomings.

I reckon we will insert a decent sell on fee. 25-30m now with the potential of getting a decent payment in the future

Few players outside of England can afford transfer fees higher than that, unless they're gambling on selling the player for a profit... which usually requires selling the player to England.

Valencia would be a good move for Greenwood.

Like a few have said add some clauses in and take the money. Not many teams in the world can afford a 40 million pound player so 25-30 is the most United can realistically expect.

Maybe theyl offer 30-35. Juve can do 40m eur after a sale so that's really positive. It funds zirkzee, hypothetically speaking.

I think for Greenwood’s sake a move to Juve would be better. They aren’t what they were but they are a massive club and he could be a star there. Valencia are pretty crap really, doubt he would fill out much potential staying there. Anyway not really our problem and hopefully we just get the most money possible.

This guy is the biggest fecking waffler ever. He literally just repeated other people's reports and worded it like he has some sort of insight.

Anyway, good bid from Valencia. Surely others in the league would be interested if they are.

Bizarre that anyone takes any notice of him.

25/30 million sounds reasonable considering the sheer amount of baggage that comes with him. He's clearly talented, but we're in no position to negotiate when we're so desperate to get rid of him.

Just the fact we all heard the recording and even if he wasn’t charged plus being with the same woman now still ends the chance he stays here.

I guess I’m glad to get rid due to the personal stuff but football wise it is devastating he is literally elite and better than what we have,

Glad you said. Every post is a masterclass in hindsight, working backwards to word things like they've predicted/knew or were in on it.

He then changes his "information" based off the new info that he has no idea is true anyway. The Valencia bid (which he has no idea is true or not) opens up the door for Juve to buy Sancho?!

This is where I disagree. All we saw was high potential playing in a counter attacking style, before it all came crashing down. Only time will tell if he can turn that potential into an elite striker but I’d reserve that word elite for the very best.

Take the best offer and get rid of this scumbag. 25 mill plus add ons and/resale clause would be a great deal. A bigger fee would be unbelievably good for us.

We should be pushing for a big sell on fee, he is probably going to smash it and go for a big fee in the next few years and a good chunk of that money should be ours.

Why 25 mil? Juve already offered 40 mil as reported. We'd be idiots to take the lower offer. Every single penny counts when we are hampered by FFP.

Personally I want 50 mil for him at least. He may be despised here, but on the negotiation table only his talent at football should be considered. And it was universally accepted on here before the incident that he was a 100 mil talent.

If we can get more snatch their hand off. Seems odd anyone would offer so much for spoilt goods but football transfers don't always make sense I guess.

Can we ban muppetiers from this thread on the basis that its the worst source imaginable by man? Fair enough if you want to see those absolute geebags make up shite about united signing gaitan but I'd rather not read their speculation on anything serious

Its from a single source Mail Sport tweet. Probably not the most reliable source. If there was any credible movement on a transfer, someone like Romano would probably be all over it before anyone else.
