Mario Balotelli

He does both, when he got subbed by Jose last season he completely threw his toys out of the pram, and alot of games he spends most of his time arguing with the ref and diving than playing football

He's not talking about Balotelli...

He digs at players without much reason to. Thats petulant, even if he can be somewhat professional off the pitch.

In my opinion its also childish no matter if Rooney or Keane do it. Or Ever Banega who did it yesterday in a friendly. I've never known someone to insist that Joey Barton isnt petulant and childish. Those would be two of the first words I use to describe him, with "cnut" somewhere in there too.

Fairy nuff

Balotelli to Citeh.. surely he isn't going to make a success of that, they'll not be able to control him methinks.

I dont care about Balotelli to City. But who Inter get to replace him is my concern. Balotelli played up front sometimes but he also played on the left of Mourinho's diamond. I saw a report that they might go after Ozil... That would make sense in a way. I hope they dont.

Dirk Kuyt. Rafa loves the defensive forward.

High expectations from spending loads of money, a load of big egos who are all going to want to play but can't, and a pretty leaky defense. Recipe for disaster, IMO

And one major significant change since then.

Mourinho out

Rafa in

Yeah, that will be the turning point for them. They would still be very hard to beat in Europe as Benitez sets his teams up well for European games. To add to that, the Italian league isn't really that strong so they're aren't many teams that could push Inter the whole way.

He may be loathed in Milan, but Mario Balotelli will be loved in the blue half of Manchester after snubbing Sir Alex Ferguson to join City

When will this nonsense stop?

City fans need that to big themselves up - feels like a trophy to them when they get one over United

Moratti says only 1 club have made offers - City.

So as far as we're concerned, we were not interested. If we were we'd have done something about it.

So City fans can feck off, they never got one over us as we never tried to sign him.

Some little cnut at my work this morning started spouting shite to me that Balotelli turned down more money from United to join City. It's that kind of shit that really pisses me off.

Inter striker Mario Balotelli has rejected a bigger pay packet at Manchester United to join former boss Roberto Mancini at Manchester City.

Thats where he got it from. Frankly I don't care either way, he'd have been a trouble signing for us so i'm happy he's gone elsewhere. The more signings City make the more the continuity goes. Its like they reboot every season.

He said that both Manchester clubs were interested though, not sure about official offers. Some newspaper said we made an offer.

If he joins City, I can see him leaving withint 2 years to Spain or back to italy

it's some sort of propaganda thing....a few days ago we had Yaya Toure saying the same thing and there s more to follow.

basically all their new signings can say that because united are continually being linked with half of the players on this planet

Yeah, I noticed that. Wouldn't surprise me if all their new signings had a stipulation in the contract that states they have to say they rejected United first.

It's just the most basic form of one-upmanship.

Small time.

Have City released the Balotelli Signing Commemorative Mug yet?

Don't worry about it... It doesn't effect your ego. So what if he picked us over City, his choice!! However i really think his attitude would have been a problem however great signing for City if true.

Great signing for City if true.

Would love to see him at United, but in Fergie we trust.

Not a fecking chance that is true.

Indeed. If we were interested (which i very much doubt) then he would join us i am sure. Furthermore, the idea of us offering a bigger wage packet than City is laughable.

I wonder if all these new players have some kind of protection on their massive salaries if the arabs up and leave and stop bankrolling City. The ensuing havoc would be quite funny.

The way we do business is to sound clubs out well before making a bid.

We probably did enquire about Sneijder. We may also have enquired about Balotelli. In all likelihood we never got close to making an actual bid for either, in the former case because they were not going to sell, and in the latter case because City were involved.

The Daily Mirror seems to be confused, its City that offers more money but players might still prefer United if we had a bid accepted as well.

In that scenario, the money (and the players) would run out of the club as fast as the oil was leaking into the sea at Deep Horizon

I don't believe for one second we asked for Sneijder. When he left Real, he was already a famous player and available, yet we didn't show any interest in him. Fergie doesn't seem like a manager who develops interest just because a player has just played a good season. But then again, what do I know.

I don't see why Moratti would lie about it.

And all Ferguson said is that we didn't bid, which I'm sure is true. We also didn't bid for Benzema.

A lot has changed since a year ago in terms of United's needs.

Didn't we? I didn't know that, I thought we bid about 30 million euros (pounds?) for him.

I think we did for about 25 pounds. Madrid made a higher offer and he preferred to go there.

I doubt we made a bid for Sneijder or Balotelli but we probably enquired about them

35 Million Euro's in last years market if I am not mistaken.. Madrid paid around 35-40 Million Pounds..
