Astrophysical Genius - Hard for Grinner
Mancini has as much chance of controlling that dressing room as a Sega Megadrive does of powering Google for a day.
No. It's called having moneyHow much have City spent now this summer?
Silva - £24m
Boateng - £12
Toure - £24
Kolarov - £19m
Balotelli - £28m
£107m and still to tie up the Milner deal (another £25-30m), plus a striker.
This is fecking insane.

A striker? They certainly won't go after one having signed Balotelli as it leaves them with basically 7 or 8 good strikers in the team.
They will go after another winger or a central player mind.
Balotelli is not an out and out striker though is he? He can play on the wing. Reading Mancini's comments the past few days looks like he's after a out and out striker too. Maybe I'm wrong.
Yeah they have a shit load already, but the likes if Santa Cruz, Bellamy, Benjani and whoever else they have (excpet Tevez and Adebayor), are finished.
That's the thing, there is so much that isnt up to the mark, i think Santa Cruz and Bellamy are good players but not top 4 good.
Mancini has a tough job getting the players Hughes signed off the wage bill because lets be honest. Santa Cruz is a bit of a crock, Bellamy is good but he's a bit of a cock, Lescott is for me the worst transfer in history, or the best if you're David Moyes and others like Barry and Bridge are just not good enough.
Agreed. It seems the Hughes signed players (albeit by the same Arab) are not good enough. Maybe City have higher goals than then.
How about the fact that they couldn't really attract Star players then as compared to this summer? One would ask what's changed? The answer to that would be very simple they signed 1 star player and the rest followed suit..
I think you may be right.
It's not as if they have CL football either.
Maybe having Mancini makes a difference now?

I was reading the bluemoon forums and it was funny to see them comparing Balotelli to Rooney(when we first signed him). I mean Rooney at Balotelli's age had shown his outrageous talent at worldwide stage where Balotelli is still not a regular in his own side. Also Rooney despite all his temperamental problems still gave it all on the pitch however Balotelli is a moody cnut. I'm not disputing Balotelli's talent but to compare him with Wazza is just wrong IMO.
He can't be an arrogant teenager all his life. He's also a player who could quite easily engineer a move away from City in the future. Robinho has had lots of trouble getting out, but he isnt mental like Balotelli. No matter how good Balotelli becomes in the next couple of seasons, if he's walking around in Manchester United shirts, arguing with City fans and pissing off his team mates they'll be forced to get rid of him because one bad apple spoils the bunch.
You're honestly comparing the European champions to a shite Everton team back then?
Balotelli would be as much of a star in the Everton team as Rooney was.
But Rooney starred for a pretty strong England team at that age, however Balotelli still can't get into the Italian team.

He's not petulant; he's just a knob.

He has anger issues, but isn't "immature" in the sense he doesn't have an inflated ego or looks down on others. He doesn't act like a child - just a thug.

Yeah but he doesn't throw his toys out of the pram when he's benched, or sits on his arse and looks bored when things don't go his way. That's the level of maturity he has at least reached. He kicks people if they do something he doesnt like, perhaps tackle him or something. Thats pretty childish in my book.

The fact he is a thug on and off the pitch has nothing to do with his childishness because you can be a childish thug or an adult thug.
Rooney and Keane also acted somewhat like you said, but they aren't considered "childish" - just hot-headed. Angry yet mature.
