Mario Balotelli

You guys have a point. Nobody wants to show hand yet.

which makes sense, expecially considering where the interview was made (ie while presenting the new Inter shirts to the fans). Can you imagine Gill presenting our new shirts and then say look both Evra and Nani are on the transfer list. If an offer comes in we will sell them.

Trust devilish to want this guy at United. Let us know when you grow a brain cell. :)

erm when you learn not to post the same post twice?

I have mixed feelings about signing Balotelli. On one hand I see alot of potential in him, while on the other hand I do acknowledge that his attitude kind of sucks. Same thing about the deal. On one hand getting a player from Inter is tough. Moratti has already said that he will not put his hands in his pockets again, at least for this year and since Real has yet to offer a decent fee for Maicon + Rafa had already stated that he wants Mascherano at San Siro then selling a player who had already caused enough problems to stir the entire team against him (After the Barcelona game) seems logical. Stating that they won't sell him on cheap (since they need the money to get to Mascherano).

Anyway what Im trying to do is to bring to you what is going on at the other side of the barricade. That's all.

So its all gone quite then?

so far, it will pick back up.

Players are regularly unsellable, then get sold.

Inter may be saying Baloteli and Maicon are indispensable, but I would not be at all surprised to see either, or both, move on this summer.

This reminds me of the tevez deal that ran on and on and on. I think it's going to happen. Come back next month when it's a done deal!!!

If it happens now, i'll look like a God. Yes!.

I dislike how we drag things on -- sign them now and give them a proper pre-season with the team or donot sign them at all.

What sincher? It's always that simple. Balotelli should fly over to the States and get those games in, regardless of what Inter want, or United say, or what is actually legal.

Manchester United Feat. Mario Balotelli.

Interesting stat for you; no Inter player was fouled more in Serie A last season than Balotelli (83 fouls), even though he only started 13 games

not sure whether thats a good thing or a bad thing

whats that, 7 fouls a game?

Balotelli's agent (Raiola )is claiming that his client will only remain in italy if Abete, president of the italian football federation goes.

apparently Raiola is furious with the decision by the italian FA to decrease the number of "foreigners" (ie non EU nationals) in the italian league to 1.

most probably this pompous cnut knows that balotelli will leave inter for england for sure as they want to offload him and is using this as some sort of protest against the decision of the italian fa

How does Balotelli affect the non-eu player signings?

moratti in an interview said that both United and City are "serious clubs" and they will work out their valuations and eventually make an offer. Then Inter will decide whether they will accept it or not.
However at the moment, things are very far from this scenario...

Translation: We are desperately inviting City and united to make an offer but till now no offers yet.

United at the mo are pathetic.were signing no one and city already have a better squad. Were standing firmly still and our days as a top world team are vanishing fast.

balotelli no, but his agent apparently has a lot of clients who come from non-eu countries

Ah I see.. But still why would Balotelli allow his agent to transfer him on dependence of the a rule that has no effect on himself whatsoever.. Surely he has an agenda of his own?

Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admits the club are 'evaluating' bids for striker Mario Balotelli.

The 19-year-old forward has been the subject of intense transfer speculation in recent weeks, with Premier League neighbours Manchester United and City thought to be interested in his signature.

Nerazzurri sporting director Marco Branca has recently declared Balotelli 'priceless', but Moratti says the club are considering offers.

He told Sky Italia: "Mario has started training again with professionalism. He is a player of great talent.

"He has offers from other clubs and we are evaluating them."

When asked to reveal what he would do if someone made an 'indecent proposal' for Balotelli, he added: "City and United are serious clubs who will be evaluating their transfer strategy.

"For the moment, we are far from this solution."

Fiery striker Balotelli is regarded as a hot prospect for the future and has been tipped by many to move to England this summer.

fecking hell how I would love to wake up tomorrow morning to read the headlines: City and United Bids accepted and Mario heads to United..

All we need it two signings and we will be fine, whether we make them or not is another question. City still have to develop a formation for these players which will be interesting.

If Balotelli moves it would have nothing to do with these new rules. It s only his agent who is using balotelli transfer to have a dig at the italian fa.

It s highly improbable that both united and city's bids are accepted. moratti is demandin 40 m euros - around 33 m sterling - and i cannot see fergie offering that much. And even so, city could still make a higher offer. For them it is very important saying that they 'beat united to sign a player', maybe that's why united are keeping a low profile (assuming fergie is really interested)

You would have to hope that if there was a contest with City that Balotelli would not make the same mistake that Benzema did last season. With the amount of players City are signing then he cannot be guaranteed the space and time to develop, unless City do some serious offloading. But with Mancini already talking about Dzeko etc then surely Balotelli would want Champions League football and a chance to get the education that made Ronaldo into the player he is now.

till now there has not been any indication about balotelli preferring us over city.
he could even prefer city because of the mancini factor..

Inter striker Mario Balotelli passes school exams, may disappoint Manchester United & Manchester City to stay in Italy for further study

Inter striker Mario Balotelli has passed his exams and obtained a diploma in accounting from the institute of Milan, with a score of 60 out of 100.

Il Corriere dello Sport now claims the hitman could consider a sports science degree course at an Italian university, leading to questions over his club future following his links with Manchester City and Manchester United.

"Now I want to go to University," Balotelli was quoted as saying once told of the results.

The results arrived on Wednesday morning when head of the institute Attilia Ferrari informed him of the results during a phone call. Balotelli was at Appiano Gentile training with the squad.

Teammate Davide Santon also passed, albeit with better marks than his team-mate. The defender got 62 out of 100.

Balotelli received praise from Ferrari, who acknowledged the effort he put into his studies, despite a tough season on the pitch for Inter last term.

"I would advise him to do a sports degree, it would be useful to an athlete like him," Ferrari said.

"He got the minimum marks, but he did it with dignity because nobody gifted him anything."

Translation : moratti please lower the asking price or i ll stay here (knowing that moratti needs to offload at least one big name player in order to fund Benitez transfer campaign)

Overnight both Gazetta and Corriere are reporting that Man City had a 25m bid turned down, but that negotiations were continuing and that Inter had agreed to sell - just haggling on price.

Interestingly Gazetta also suggest that Inter will move for Rossi if they do sell Balotelli.

Are they reliable sources? SSN said the fee was £20 mill that had been bid.
