By wages, do you mean future wage demands?Nonsense
Firstly, Rashford is a much better player than Lingard.
Nobody wanting Lingard had nothing to do with his wages. Nobody wanting Rashford has a massive amount to do with his wages.
What he's on here, now, effects a possible move in terms of a loan and clubs covering it.
But surely the best option for all parties is a permanent move - and in that case, to get the move that he wants, then surely his current wages here don't matter? Negotiations start afresh with any new team he signs for permanently. And, if it's only his current high wages that are a 'massive amount' of the reaaons why top clubs don't want him (as opposed to his limitations, inconsistency, disciplinary issues, etc), then surely he and his team should be sending out the message that he wouldn't be expecting those insurmountable and unrealistic levels of wages in order to get the permanent deal done?
In which case, his wages wouldn't be a major issue. Unless he's still going to expecting / demanding those huge levels even at a new club, despite joining them while currently not being selected by club or country and his stock having seriously fallen. In which case it's him that's pricing himself out of the move.
