As the kids say nowadays: let him cookYou CAN'T expect him to peel the spuds! You are laying too much pressure on him!

He can put them over the Au Gratin if he's feeling poshHe’s good at stewing alright
How does how a person dresses reflect their attitude? You see the most ridiculous things being worn by athletes regularly. It's a nonsense argument and potentially racially tinged.
Fowler also a person with a stupid celebration that's famous.. just like Rashfords.
Do you really think that if Rashford was white nobody would be criticizing him for dressing like a flashy wanker? What utter nonsense.

Everyone criticised Beckham and his sarong. Yet people respected his performances and his workrateDon’t think it’s anything to do with race. People just don’t like it in your face bling, flashy stuff. I’m sure Beckham got pelters for his braids and leather vests or what have you. Personally, I don’t really give a shit what you wear but I people like to get upset.
Exactly this... if Rashford wasn't so lazy, most wouldn't care how he dressed or acted outside the pitch.Everyone criticised Beckham and his sarong. Yet people respected his performances and his workrate
Well that’s what I mean. It’s a lazy observation to make but I don’t think there’s anything racial in it. That’s not to say that there is no racial undertones in some of the criticism Rashford and young black successful players get thrown at them.Everyone criticised Beckham and his sarong. When the "flashy" attire (and bling and whatnot) of non-white people is highlighted, that potentially carries a certain meaning (one that pointing out that Fowler looks like an utter wanker in that suit does not carry). Come on - you know precisely what we're talking about, surely.
Don’t think it’s anything to do with race.

Edit: personally I don't care either way.
It's no different than people making fun of central europeans for wearing sandals with socks.
It's potentially very different from that.
But I'm not going to spend my afternoon trying to explain why this is the case.
My issue with him going to Barca on a loan would be the likelihood he ends up being predictably underwhelming, coupled to the abundance of talent they already have there in attacking positions as well as how hostile their fans can be. It just means he comes back in the summer, cementing his reputation as stealing a living at the wages he's on making it less likely we'll offload him for good.
Don't get me wrong, I'd drive him to Barcelona myself (especially if the rumours of them willing to cover all his wages are true), but I'd much rather he joins a smaller club, ideally in a lesser league where he'd be able to stat pad and look impressive, making it easier for us to sell him permanently in the summer.
Its not

It absolutely is.
But - again - if you don't get it, fine.
I'm going out drinkin'. Wish you all a fine weekend!
Galatasaray are signing Morata I read so not sure if that will rule them out. Did cross my mind if they went for him he could be facing us in the Europa. The Turkish transfer window shuts a week later, the Barca deal isn’t going to happen so I can see him ending up at one of the Turkish teams once reality has set in.

I can't see him going to Turkey. He will think it's beneath him. Then again, maybe he would relish the thought of reuniting with his mate, Ole.The Turkish transfer window shuts a week later, the Barca deal isn’t going to happen so I can see him ending up at one of the Turkish teams once reality has set in.
Because the only right opinion is mine!!!!It absolutely is.

What? How does how a person dresses reflect their attitude? You see the most ridiculous things being worn by athletes regularly. It's a nonsense argument and potentially racially tinged.
NonsenseWell it clearly did reflect his attitude, so case closed.

It's specifically what he's wearing that is the point. But not important overall so will leave it.Hard to keep up with this thread. From the last couple of pages, the tl,dr; seems to be that Barcelona are potentially serious, and criticizing Rashford for what he wears might be or might not be racist.
Did I miss anything else?
