Marcus Rashford and his critics | Now includes fashion and hobby critics

A problem of the clubs own making.. Paid a Jarrod Bowen level winger Salah/Haaland level wages and surprised it went to his head.

Rashford wishes he was on Bowen's level. This is a big insult to one of the most consistent players in the PL over the last few seasons.

He can be whatever he wants be and do whatever he wants in his free time.

I only care about his performances in football matches and he's been shit.
This.

Obviously provided not breaking law or football regulations.

Think he will be playing in Saudi next season.

His crime here is wearing some daft clothes and watching a NBA match during his time off. Have a day off everyone.

I would have loved the players not on international break (quite a lot of them in our squad!), working early with Amorim on the tactics and playing style to give us more chance of adapting to new tactics more quickly. I have no idea if this has happened, I saw Amorim with a few of the players a few days ago, but the Rashford picture potentially contradicts this?

Start consistently performing and the criticism will go away. It's honestly that simple.

He’s so cringe. He can do what he wants but you’d think with a new manager coming in, he’d be going above and beyond to make a good impression, given how underwhelming he’s been.

If you're in Rashfords position and there's an option to stay in Manchester, meet the new manager and get in some targeted work the new staff, surely you take it?

I guess it's possible we are 'closed' or something, but I'd be surprised.

Hes offered nothing this season, and is behaving like someone with nothing to prove.

I think what’s sad about this thread and most Rashford threads on here, I genuinely want to see him turn it around, but I feel like so many want him to continue to be bad so they can slag him off and be sold. So many have a proper dislike for him.

Rashford is throwing away his talent the same as his mate Lingaard

Once the hunger has gone, it’s pointless to keep giving him chances

Would love it if he turns it around, sick of blasting 50m+ on transfers that turn out shite.
Ideal scenario is rashford gets back to his best form, but it doesn't look likely, he's painful to watch play these days.

It’d be stupid to wish him to continue to play bad but at the same time expecting him to be sold as if there will be clubs willing to buy him.

Personally I want him to play well but he should be sold next summer.

That's obviously nonsense. People are just fed up with him.

Do you honestly believe that?
Do you think fact he's been ass for two years has been entirely coincidental to the criticism he receives?

This is partly why why people have lost patience. Even getting people to admit he's been terrible is an uphill struggle.

No he's been great and we're all fecking evil. Or something. Must be it.

I'll still criticize his shite fashion sense and tacky and tasteless jewelry even if he starts performing tbh.

Christ you're tedious. You can bet you would carry on crying over him.... You live in these threads.

Anyway, anyone who thinks that Rashford turning it on would silence all this critics is naive as feck. It was actually interesting reading people's comments on Nani earlier as I remember exactly how he was talked about on here. Little did we know that things would get much worse....

I’m not sure about that. I hope not. You always want best to our players. However it is only him who can improve his game. Nobody else can do it for him. He is not going to improve watching basketball. He should have stayed at home to work on his game.

At least have some low profile if you go. Don’t dress to get more attention when you know there is criticism about you game. Btw. I find it ridiculous that grown men need to have 2 tons of jewelry on them and some strange clothes. He is not the first or last in world of sport.

I just find it sad. This whole situation. On pitch he looks like he is forced to play. He looks like he dont want to play football anymore. I could be wrong but wouldn’t surprise me if he is sold in January or atleast summer. Maybe it would be best for him and team.

For me, it's the crying over criticism.
He's one of the best paid footballers in the world, it was always gonna be a highly criticised position to be in.
The haters are always gonna hate, but even those who are frustrated by his lack of application of his talent are derided for expressing so.
He's wasting his talent. At one point we were as excited about him as Barca fans are about Yamal, now he just seems like a burden on the team. There's still time to turn it around, but it's slipping away fast. I just hope Amorim can reignite the talent we all know he possesses before he's sold.

No, even figuratively it doesn’t make sense. In what way is he acting like a ‘gangster’?

How about the behavior last night, and the teeth? The going to Belfast and taking women’s phones from them so they can’t photo him? Having “a favourite jeweler?” How about parking on yellow lines in a Bentley or whatever car it was that he wrote off?

- His off-pitch carry-on is dismal.

Whilst he may think of himself as 'Gangsta' he is anything but. They generally work hard to exploit any advantage and are excellent at drive by shootings.

Marcus spends most of his time dribbling down cul-de-sacs and sulking. He'll be gone in January!
This is such a fecking stupid post.

Christ we have some boomers around.

Cause he's wearing designer clothes and jewelry he looks like a guy that would do driveby shootings? Or possibly there's another reason why you're jumping to that?

Worked for Harry Maguire who hasn't been a meme for over a year now.
So one example then? Even Andy Cole got rinsed on here and he helped us win the treble...

Why is it so hard to admit for some of you lot that you are just this season's bunch of moaning cnuts? Gotta tie yourselves in knots in odd attempts to justify what is at this point excessive moaning about bollocks. As everybody is on the same page about his performances, so I can only imagine it's some attempt to stand out amongst a sea of moaning cnuts...

Interesting how you say this, yet you go into every Rashford thread and constantly try to shout down any and all criticism of him.

Excessive moaning, and yes, I guess do.... I go into the Garnacho one too if that makes you feel better. Also frequent the Bruno, Hoijlund and Zirkzee threads too. (also frequented the Maguire thread and way back when, the Nani thread). I seem to enjoy defending the players, and taking the piss out of moaners... We all have our vices.

What's yours?

Of course everyone wants Rashford to play better. But even his best season still isn’t good enough for the main striker and he’s so far away from that at the moment. If we had bought him 8 years ago instead of him coming from the youth, no one would be arguing for him to stay
