What a surprise.
All the pressure and responsibility comes with the biggest contract at the biggest club in the world.
And you can't just claim he's depressed. Nobody actually knows what's up with him but everyone can see he's a big part of the state we're in.
Well, you clearly know more than enough about him to be confident in referring to him as a ‘c*nt’

Okay then, mate. As I said, the forum is actively trying to reduce name calling and vile insults of players.
Just put me and everyone else who thinks he's one on ignore mate because I'm 100 % sure I won't be the last to say it.
No worries matey,

No worries matey,
You realise you can discuss a players performances, and attitude to the game, without the need to throw around childish insults and vile names, particularly when you have no knowledge of what’s actually going on in that persons life? We all have eyes and can see he hasn’t been applying himself properly.

He has had huge pressure and responsibility for years, and he got run out of his club by a section of its own fans. Yes, he's overpaid. Yes, he stopped trying. Yes, he became depressed. Yes, he's been shite for large periods of time at united. Yes..... all these things are true, and related.
dont forget his girlfriend and his car crashing on him when he needed it the most. Judging by his short cameo he's suddenly healed his crippled back, truly a miracle. Dont dare question his commitment though, dont dare

Varane who actually knows him personally says he loves the club but I guess you know better? Good job.
Has he showed that he even gives a shit about the club never mind loving it since he got his stupid contract? The answer you're looking for is no. Quite the opposite.

Alright. I'll trust your word over Varane and others more involved. No problem.

Can't believe he chased a ball down and slid into a tackle. Where was that at United??
Doing very well so far. Even if he doesn't join them in the summer, I'm beginning to think that he'll be thought of as a cult hero there, ala Larsson's loan to us back in the day

If I was a gambler, with a large gambling problem I would probably put a big bet on what is actually going on with Rashford. Personally, I don't have a gambling problem, so I won't personally make a bet, but others love a good bet.

Yeah, but if he was holding us back as implied you’d think we’d seen an improvement.

We wouldn't though, because we've recruited absolute garbage. Not sure many are saying he was holding us back, more so he was not delivering anything close to what a player on his wages should have been delivering past a purple patch over two years ago.

Come on, doing "very well" is stretching it. He is trying, which at least is something. But he is a forward player who still has questionable decision making, is sloppy with his passing, and has not scored. I have not seen anything of him at Villa to suggest a turning of a corner. Even his trying is not busting a gut, but just better than what it has been. I am still edging towards he'll become a waste of space again rather than regain any form that would place him as a top player. He will pick up some goals because he always does, but I will be surprised if he is excellent there.

Plays the most woeful cross for Villa, commentators that’s ‘positive play’. Does it for us, that’s ‘poor and sums up the team’.

Life is complicated. Rashford struggled with the expectation and scrutiny of being an academy graduate at United. He repeatedly put his body on the line for the club in the past especially under Ole, and eventually it reached a point for him where he couldn't handle the pressure and whatever. Obviously he takes a lot of the blame for how he's been here, but it's dumb to question his feelings for the club. He grew up with the club and has been part of it for 20 years. There's reasons that both the club and him take the blame for how it turned out. But I doubt it would have gone this way if we were a stable club who knew what they were doing in the first place over the past 10 years.

You think that's what's up?

What are the chances he ends up scoring more league goals for Utd this season than Hojlund or Zirkzee?

I didn't agree with the bumper contract and wanted him gone for a while, but just maybe he needed a change of scene.

A lot of us would have felt that in the workplace, sometimes a fresh start elsewhere is what we need.
Anyway, good luck to the lad. Hopefully his final gift to United can be a reasonable transfer fee.
