Think it might be the first time I've said it but...sell. His crime is that he lacks consistency. You can't keep having seasons like this after a reasonably fruitful one like last. His reputation supercedes his ability.

Problem with last season is he was scoring ridiculous goals. So it has given people a false sense of his ability. Scored so many fluky goals but much of his general play is similar to how it’s been over the last 4-5 years.

He has never been great at tracking back but he would at least make a half arsed effort to jog along side his man but this now is just drivel. You can be not in form but that has nothing to do with effort. I’m surprised he lasted the t0 mins and wasn’t hauled off after 20. Truly terrible and just needs to sit on the bench for the rest of the season or get the Sancho treatment.

He used to be my favourite player and I respect him for his work off the pitch. He also has the talent to be a top LW. He just doesn’t have the mentality. His work rate is appalling. He plays without intensity. He doesn’t take on his man. He shies away from challenges. He also looks slower than before. I’ve got no idea what happened to him, but it cannot continue.

What I don’t get is why EtH is accepting the performances. Either the coaches figure out what’s wrong with Rashford and help him overcome his issues or he’s benched until he himself figures out if he actually wants to be a football player again.

I’m certain he’s not getting any better ability wise than what we’re seeing now. His decision making is still awful 8 years on and every half decent defender reads him so easily. Nick the ball off him and expect no resistance.

We'll look back and think talk of an over 100m bid from PSG was some sort of fantasy. Among all the bad transfers post ferguson, not taking that money for this guy is right up there.

To the basic eye test, I dont see how anybody could see Antony, as underwhelming as he is, as a worse player based on pure technical ability. And this is a guy who cant use his right foot. That’s pretty reasonable, I think.
Personally I am sick to death of Rashford. I don’t know whether he’s just spoilt and can’t be arsed or whether he has some underlying psychological issues that prevent him playing well.

The outcome is really the same. And though he scores some great goals every couple of seasons, they really don’t begin to balance the shit we get from him the rest of the time.

I think maybe the Glazers protect him from the consequences of his dreadful attitude and keep him on the field because he’s a commercial asset. I am hoping Sir Brexiteer might not have the patience with him, if his own outfit want control of football at the club. I think we need rid of Rashford, and I’m hoping that they do too.
