He really needs to wake up for the sake of his own career. He's fecking sleepwalking out there most of the time.

I don’t know if it’s an accumulation of the injuries or he’s just been overindulged by the coaching staff, but man has his game just dramatically changed for the worse. It’s like he plays like how you’d expect a veteran striker going through the motions to get a chance or two later in a game

He wont cut it under Ralf because technically he is awful. Add to this he just doesn't use his brain or is smart enough to bring others into play.

I belive we should give elanga some game time then rashy

Terrible. He can still do things when he has the ball, but off the ball he does feck all.

I miss the young rashford that pressed like crazy. He was like tevez when he first started out

Is it just me, or is he absolutely shite? I don’t recall him looking so unbelievably crap at hanging on to the football.

Am I mistaken or was Rashford offside when Sancho took the shot?

I think Sancho was waiting to pass to him but Rashford was too close to being offside and wouldn't step back. I swear he doesn't know the offside rule.
It was close, but if I had to take a guess I would say Rashford was offside for the entire time that he and Sancho were charging forward. It was absolutely terrible play and he got bailed out by Sancho finishing the move himself instead of going for what would probably have been the better option (if Marcus were onside) of the pass.

Technically awful, footballing IQ of about 50, I hope I'll be proven wrong but aside from a massive Rangnick kick up his backside I just don't see how he'll turn things around at this point in time. He's a footballer first and foremost and maybe Ole was right on the prioritising football thing.

wow, very poor today, the only good thing he did was run alongside Sancho which caught Mendy in 2 minds.

He was offside for Sancho’s entire run. Like what the actual feck.

Not sure what's happened to him.

He used to press, and his decision making was showing improvement.

He's completely regressed in those departments.

Needs to stop relying on his speed so much.

Poor game, hope Rangnick puts him on the bench if he doesn't improve his workrate.

Terrible performance. So many basic errors. First half he gifted Chelsea the ball again and again. His decision making is shocking.

His positioning for Sancho's goal was fecking terrible tbh. I had to watch a replay to see I wasn't imagining that he was running in front of him.

how will rangnick work with his selfishness ? so far away from that young man that worked so hard for the team.

That and he was waiting for the ball to come to his feet on all 2nd half and didn't even bother tracking most of the time.

Having Ronaldo would not make these young guys stop developing. They will do it themselves like this.

I think he can be coached to be in better positions and smarter with his movement
He's only turned 24 so that should help with a team style implemented rather than go out and have fun

Worrying when he doesn't even realize he was offside the entire time for the Sancho goal. No critical thinking going on.

Does he understand how the offside rule works??? Absolutely brainless. He's lucky that Sancho bailed him out with an excellent finish.

What has happened to him? No work rate whatsoever. Mbappe has been doing the same but atleast he's led his team (nation and club) to trophies. Rashford's not even a regular starter for club or country. Shameful

 seriously deluded

It was impressive how he managed to stay in offside ALL the time during that goal. He was not in and out, he was in offside from start to finish.
Also, when Fred made that shot/cross; i bet that Cavani or Ronaldo would attack that post.

He is a player with so much potential and it hurts me how he stagnated last few years tactically wise.

Shocking. One of the laziest players ever to wear the shirt. I dont know what happened to Rashy, but he needs to get his PR team on the case.

Plays as though he is some G.O.A.T, even Ronaldo shows more effort than him.

What’s with all the criticism?

He’s playing with an injury. And all the poor qualities is just down to what the coaching team is asking him to do.

/sarcasm

The guy used to work so hard defensively when he started in the team but the last couple of years he doesn't seem to care about defending. Left Telles exposed so many times today.

Absolutely unacceptable from Rashford.

Such incredible stupidity from him, how does he not know how to time his run there ?

He's really lucky Sancho was composed enough to ignore him and score himself.

He has developed a diva mentality on the field, the positive PR has gone to his head.

Absobloodylutely. Should be on tbe bench against the gunners. Jesse or Mason for me for now.

Laziness is one thing and not having any clue on what to do due to double digit footballing IQ is another. It's very much the latter when it comes to Rashford, in my opinion.
