Il wait until Sancho performs like old Rashford in the PL
In your case 2 negatives certainly do make a positive. As a fan of Rashford - I think it gives me hope that the whole team is shit.
Serious?Looked sharp when he came on!
Serious?
Even if he turns it around, I won't forgive his lack of effort. He is a disgrace.
There was a time when he had a good period where some of our fans said he's never good enough and too limited to his game. I defended him but he's shown this year that those fans where right all along. Can't be blamed on injuries anymore, he's been absolutely atrocious and if I was the new manager he would be no part of my plans.Yeah, a long way back for many fans. He downed tools like no player I've ever seen at United. Moreso than even di Maria
As sharp as my spoon I lost 30 years ago in my back garden.Looked sharp when he came on!

Again came on to jog around for a few minutes and go home.
What exactly do you expect of him in 13 minutes?
Score a goal maybe?
Or is that out of the world expectation these days for our subs?
if you expect Rashford in his current form to come on and score a goal in 13 minutes (less than that actually as the ball isn't actually in play for that entire time) when the rest of his team are defeated then that's on you
Thinking back to young Rashford when he first came on to the scene, the sentence above would have been unimaginable. I've never been the biggest fan of his abilities but the lack of effort and the way a lot of fans are disconnected from him is sad.
So we have a striker who we don't expect to score or do anything remotely positive when he comes on?

Not in his current form and not in that length of time no, again if you expect otherwise then that's on you. In his current form I don't expect anything of him in 90 minutes let alone 17
Anyone know if this is true?

Just to make this clear, for myself and, I believe, many others here, it’s really not about his form, ghastly though that is. Form comes and goes, and no one is in their best form all of the time. Not in his current form and not in that length of time no, again if you expect otherwise then that's on you. In his current form I don't expect anything of him in 90 minutes let alone 17

But if we expect nothing of him, then why play him? My biggest gripe with Ralf, and I've been defending him and what he's doing for our club, not just as interim, but updating the back end of the club, is his persistence with the same players expecting a different result.
Double standards for your favourite player. If people made these excuses for other players you’d be the first to call them fan boys. There’s no excuse for his lack of effort.Nobody knows just how toxic this dressing room has become. Considering Rashford seems to be struggling as much as anyone is, if not more so, then maybe something serious has happened we aren't aware of.
Every player who isn't sold this summer gets a clean slate under a proper coach in Ten Hag.
This is Rashford's first really poor season for us. The previous 4 he's not been close to being our worst player.
