Feck me this clown isn't worth the hassle - I hope the moment we heard "lawsuits" we went to the backup to our backup! We're not looking slick at all whether this is our fault or not. Time to move on and quickly - only 2 weeks left in this window.

My feelings on this. Tied up in legal and ego battles now. Will take too much money to make it happen. We are just going to have to pray the guys at the back get over their injuries quick and stay healthy.

Then LvG and Woodie need to sit down and do some serious discussions about what can possibly be done in January and what WILL get done the following summer. If Woodie is not up to getting it done, then he has to go immediately.

Uncannily similar to the Herrera deal we tried to rush through around this time last summer.

At least we're learning from our mistakes, eh?

Why did we bid for him then? A club of our size should do their fecking research. It's a joke quite frankly.

Sporting are a great institution of football....Doyen are cnuts.....Sporting have continually excelled in the game of football.....Doyen are a bunch of thieving cnuts.....repeat.

Pretty much it.

Funny how they moan about them while Sporting have their player there.

I don´t think it was United´s fault. The Fund was clearly trying to decieve and manipulate both clubs.

What do you think is next for Rojo?

Do you think your president after he made such a strong statement will consider a peaceful solution in the end, or is legal actions/confrontation his only way forward?

There have been plenty of reports about him. And it´s not even Sporting related. He´s a very dodgy fella Joorabchian style.

Same type of greasy mobster style:

 Not your finest argument, but that jacket is a shocker.

1) We could be in trouble by January, at the back. If he can't make things happen in the summer, January is likely to be any better.

2) Many of think he is wholly incompetent in the transfer market.

3) Of course he won't, he is too good at convincing sponsors to part with their cash.

Right now, he's competing with Reece James and Tyler Blacket for a place in the team. So I'm going with "yes".

But unfairly judging Blacketts recent preseason form vs Rojo's past club and country campaign they look similar? Problem I have with this transfer is they're both left footed and will be fighting for the left sided CB spot but Blackett is 4 years young so could have a higher potential so why ruin it.

Would rather look at Benatia if Sporting stick to their guns about his buyout clause..

Haven't we got some sort of arrangement with Sporting that we basically get 'first dibs' on all their best players? How hard can this be Woody?

It's weird. All this hassle and no one seems to know whether this guy is really all that good.

No ideia mate. I don´t think any of the parts are willing to compromise. What i do know is that it´s almost impossible for Rojo to remain. Our President drives a really hard bargain. If there is a solution to this case, i think it will appear in the last transfer days.

I liked it mate. That´s the answer the fund deserves.

If the fund did pay 75% for his transfer from Spartak, then they have an investment in the player. Do you think they lied about the 75% penalty that Sporting has to pay if they reject a bid?

It wouldn´t be the first time they lied mate but i can´t answer that with certainty.

Why not get rid of their player then and move on?

I think the President wants to make an example out of him. We have several highly rated players and we can´t tolerate behaviour like this. It would be chaos.

I'm sure you did. Gives a very bad impression of the club though. Would definitely make me think twice about going into business with them.
I really doubt they're going to need a large container full of pink fluffy dildos, so I doubt it's going to be an issue.

Don't think this will happen if Sporting keep this up. Not enough days in the window to go through a saga.

If you guys don't like what the fund is doing and how they handle things then you sell the players they own and move on. Keeping him would be hypocrisy after moaning about them.

How do they intend on ripping up the contract with Doyen without paying them a reasonable fee?

I beg to differ. Sporting´s only problem is with this mafia style fund. Their behaviour deserved this answer. We have dealt with most of the top european clubs in what regards transfers and there was never a problem. Sporting and United enjoy a good relationship and have made satisfying business in the past without any issue. It´s your interpretation of the matter. Us Sporting fans are pleased because what matters to us the most is having a President who defends our interests and doesn´t back down under pressure. I don´t care about the style. What matters to me is that the club is not a Doyen pawn anymore.

No idea mate. There are few details yet. There is an obvious extremism at the moment but i think sooner or later there will be compromise.

Who says we are keeping him? He is under disciplinary action that´s it. I don´t know if we are going to keep or move him. You can´t expect the club to be held randsom by some fund. He will move according to our interests and timing.
